<span style="font-weight: 400;">Oregon Elite 17U White played a captivating game versus Team Arizona in their second day for the Arizona Fall Classic in which players were able to showcase their skills and talents on the floor. Led by Carly Wheeler’s 19 points and 5 rebounds, Oregon Elite coasted to victory in a contest where they led 29-14 at the half. Things started off with Emma Vawter finding Wheeler alongside the arc for a three. Wheeler rebounded a miss for an easy bucket, followed by McNamee finding Wheeler for another three. Jayd Sollinger sank two free throws as [player_tooltip player_id="158523" first="Gretta" last="Baker"] sank back to back threes thanks to Ava Prechel and [player_tooltip player_id="158502" first="Audrey" last="Miller"].</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Kendyl Abel scored off an inbounds play as Sollinger had a nice step back three pointer, showing some James Harden to her game. McNamee found Carly Wheeler for yet another triple. Wheeler scored on the following possession on a mid-range jumper. Vawter gave it up to McNamee for a three. Perhaps the best team play came on a full court give and go, as Carly Wheeler secured the board, gave it to McNamee, who found Carly alongside the baseline for a score to end the half. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The begin things in the second half, Sollinger found the offensive rebound for a bucket and had a nice isolation mid-range jumper on the following sequence. [player_tooltip player_id="158529" first="McKenzie" last="Hirsch"] sank a free throw and Wheeler sank two more. Wheeler had a nice slashing attack to the basket and Sollinger ended their scoring output for the game with yet another board and bucket. Oregon Elite took this one relatively easy, with a final score of 48-25.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Wheeler is a polished interior scorer, as she displays great footwork inside the paint and knows how to evade defenders. She also showed that she is a superior outside shooter as she sank three from deep in an excellent shooting display. Wheeler is a versatile player that can guard multiple positions, as she has the size and discipline to contain the post area, but also the grit and speed to keep up with players alongside the perimeter. She had an excellent display with her 19 point, 5 rebound performance where she scored all over the floor in a multitude of ways.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent Team Rebounding Effort</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Anytime you have 40 rebounds in a game, it is a reason to celebrate and Oregon Elite did just that versus Team Arizona as their players were all over the boards throughout the game Kendyl Abel had a game high 9 rebounds, where she was resilient in the paint snatching rebounds with relative ease all game long. Campbell Sheffield was also a significant contributor on this frontier as she had 8 of her own and Jayd Sollinger had 7 rebounds in a contest where she kept illustrating her exceptional ability to rebound as a guard.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Jayd Sollinger: Versatile Scorer</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Speaking of the talented Ashland guard, Jayd has a nice offensive toolkit that is both refined and unique. Her ability to score off the dribble is uncanny, as she is efficient in the number of dribbles she takes and has a quick shot off the bounce. Her step back three and isolation mid-range jumper were characteristic of her offensive game - one that can be showy but effective. Sollinger is a nifty guard who has size and levels to her game, as she is also a significant rebounder as aforementioned who knows how to utilize her traits and skills.</span>
