Tune in!! With the new ranking update in the Class of 2021 officially being released- many players have improved so many aspects of their game, adding height, committing to college programs and bringing in college interest. Heading into their senior seasons, confidence is high and the skill is more than there. Take a look at the Top 10 ranked players by Prep Girls Hoops.
- Matyson Wilke Matyson Wilke 5'10" | CG Beaver Dam | 2021 State #57 Nation WI | Beaver Dam | North Tartan | 5’10 G
Wilke is a very balanced player that has one of the smoothest attacks in her class. She is also super impressive shooting from midrange and deep. She is a phenomenal athlete that plays with so much passion on the floor. She is a gritty player that does all the dirty work as well. She is extremely shifty with the ball and is dangerous when going downhill. Wilke is committed to University of Wisconsin.

The UW Green Bay commit comes in ranked second for another year in Prep Hoops rankings. The dynamic guard is incredibly composed under pressure, shown by her ability to maintain her dribble when pressure up against. Her handles are extremely impressive for her size and her ability to finish against contact makes her elite and ready for the next level.

Genke moved her way up the rankings and is now ranked third by Prep Girls Hoops. She plays with some of the best pace in the class and it shows whenever she has the ball. Although she is not the quickest player, she can still get past defenders because of her shiftiness. Gene’s hesitation move is arguably her best counter move. She is phenomenal at selling the fake as well. She plays well with her back to the basket and is a fierce rebounder in the lane. She is committed to UW Green Bay.

Dallas is an extremely versatile and athletic prospect that is perfect for the modern game. She is a high level athlete that can get up and down the court with ease- this is impressive for someone of her size. She explodes attacking the rim and plays with power when she has momentum in the open court. She can be a force on the offensive glass because of her instincts and ability to get over the defense and finish strong at the glass.

Van Zeeland continues to add so much versatility to her game. She is very light on her feet for her size and has become very comfortable putting the ball on the floor and attacking. Her versatility is also present on the defensive side of the ball- she can defend most positions. She is physical enough to body up in the post and agile enough to defend on the perimeter. She noticeably slides her feet well when engaged too. Van Zeeland is committed to Illinois State.

Butler is an incredibly explosive guard that can really fly off of one foot. She is a great vertical leaper once she gets a head of steam. When she gets going downhill, it is very hard to stop. Also, her elevelation is crazy for her size, often finishing against much taller defenders. She sets her teammates up perfectly for passes and works well without the ball in her hands. She uses screens and cuts hard, constantly getting her teammates involved. Butler is committed to UW Green Bay.

Gardner is a player that is continuing to rise her stock and has glimpses of pure greatness on the court. She is an elite scorer- she can score from anywhere on the floor. A three level scorer at her size is so special on a team. She is confident running the show but also thrives in the low post. She is incredibly mobile and has great movement on both ends. Gardner is committed to Nebraska Omaha.

Ziebell is a talented athlete that can really take over games on the floor. She has great footwork in the post but can also translate it to the perimeter and knock down baskets as well. She is a mature prospect who plays with composure and patience on the floor. A beast on the boards, Ziebell is a workhorse and plays with high energy. She is committed to Bradley.

The UW Milwaukee commit has so much value to her game. She really can do it all. A phenomenal three way scorer and two way power forward- Lutz is so difficult to stop. Her physicality is noticeable immediately, and she utilizes her well-built frame in a multitude of ways. She is a great finisher at the rim and also does well creating separation for a mid-range. Lutz is an underrated passer- she sees the floor so well and is often facilitating the offense for her team.
- Carley Duffney Carley Duffney 5'11" | CG Green Bay Preble | 2021 State WI | Green Bay Preble | Purple Aces | 5’11 CG
Duffney is another stock rising prospect who really put the work in an improved technical aspect of her game, all summer long. She’s become noticeably confident with the ball and could very well play 1-4 on the floor. She can handle the ball and isn’t phased by pressure. She knows how to use her body to overpower smaller guards and finish high. She has a quick release and ability to knock down with a hand in her face. Her passing skills are noticeable as well- she consistently finds open teammates. Duffney is committed to South Dakota.
