This look at Missouri upperclassmen committed to attend is the second of a series of player previews to enjoy as we build toward the action. Read the initial post was about Kansas 2021s. At time of publication 66 players from four states have registered.
2021
Kamari Ouck Kamari Ouck 5'9" | SF Parkview | 2021 State MO , 5’9″, SG/SF, Parkview — The #46 ranked Ouck has appeared in several Prep Girls Hoops Missouri articles. In June PGH Missouri’s Willis Reed wrote about her versatility, handles, scoring ability and solidness as a defender and rebounder.
Two players are attending that I recently saw at I-35 Showcase in Wichita.
Alexiana Robinson, 5’3″, PG, Van Horn — The unrated Robinson is not the fastest or quickest player but what is garnering her attention is her ability to play in control, her handles, and court vision. She does not look to him them often but she also has solid three point range.
Hannah Smith, 5’6″, SG, Blue Springs South — The unrated Smith caught my attention with her shooting and her effectiveness in closing out one-on-one drills.
2022
Sa’Yere Banks, 5’9″, SF, Saint Michael the Archangel — The unrated Banks has good length and transition speed. Has the ability to take the ball up the floor quickly off the pick or rebound.
Maddy Carroll, 6’0″, PF/SF, Timberland — Prep Girls Hoops Missouri’s Earl Austin wrote about Nike Tournament of Champions day 1 performances by forwards and Carroll was among those featured. In it he described her as “a versatile combo forward… who operates well on the baseline.” He also stated she had “some nice takes to the basket where she scored in traffic.”
Trinniti Matthews Trinniti Matthews 5'11" | SF Francis Howell Central | 2022 State MO , 5’11”, SF, Francis Howell Central — Also appearing several times in PGH Missouri articles, Matthews is ranked #22. Prep Girls Hoops Missouri’s Earl Austin wrote in early September about her footwork, length, defensive disruptiveness, and scoring ability.
Grace Quinn, 5’6″, G, Saint Theresa’s Academy — The unrated Quinn is a player I am unable to find information on and will especially look forward to see because of it.
Sydney Reddin Sydney Reddin 5'9" | CG Holt | 2022 State MO , 5’9″, CG, Holt — Reddin, ranked #14, also has appeared in several Prep Girls Hoops Missouri articles. Just a few days ago Reed wrote about the players ranked 11th – 20th. He describes her as a solid, “all-around big guard,” who is a threat to score in a variety of ways. In June, PGH Missouri scout Earl Austin wrote about her ability to play with pace and power as well as sharing a few statistics from this past season.
