What players should we see making some moves in the next Updated Palmetto State Rankings ? The next set of rankings won’t be until December. Lets take a look at a few names to follow before then and look for them to climb in the 2021 rankings.
[player_tooltip player_id="172490" first="Jasmine" last="Norman"] - Marlboro County HS (Bennettsville) (pictured on the front)
Norman really came out on fire a few weeks back in the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo. Norman is a SCORER and finds ways to do just that. Norman will leak out in transition at times for cheapies or knockdown the open perimeter jumper. Norman has nice range on her shot from downtown. Norman averaged 17 ppg last season for the Lady Bulldogs. Marlboro County HS has moved down to the Class 3A ranks this coming season.
[player_tooltip player_id="175330" first="Jalani" last="Adams"] - Mauldin HS
Adams is back for the Lady Mavericks this coming season after gathering 1st Team All-Region Honors last season. Adams averaged 21 ppg and 12 rebounds last season for the Lady Mavericks (13-12). Adams finishes really well around the basket and plays the game in the paint very well. Adams already has scored over 1,000 career points before entering her senior season. Adams is looking to have a breakout season this year in the Upstate.

[player_tooltip player_id="171736" first="Daveona" last="Hatchell"] - North Myrtle Beach HS
Hatchell played extremely well at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo a few weeks back. Hatchell does most of her damage around the basket with put-backs on the glass. Hatchell has the ability to finish with both hands around the basket. Hatchell at times will step-out and knockdown a short jumper. Hatchell really can stuff the stat sheet on given game night.

[player_tooltip player_id="197357" first="Ceyda" last="Yucel"] - Trinity Collegiate (Darlington)
Yucel is a physical player down in the post. Yucel who is very vocal on the floor will carve out space in the paint or make a crisp pass from the top of the key. Yucel is just one many faces on the Lady Titans roster this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id="206617" first="Morgan" last="Kelly"] - Blythewood HS
Kelly really had a coming out party for me at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo a few weeks back in Myrtle Beach. Kelly plays the game extremely hard and with a competitive edge. Kelly is a great leader on the floor with her passing skills and her way to communicate with teammates. Kelly will for sure make some noise this season for the Lady Bengals.
[player_tooltip player_id="176205" first="Janae" last="Whaley"]- Stall HS (Charleston)
Whaley a combo guard can really stuff the stat sheet also on a given night. Whaley was constantly havoc in the passing lanes last year as she averaged 5.4 steals per game. Whaley averaged 13.3 ppg last year for the Lady Warriors.
