We will tell you a little about them and talk about what they do well on the floor for coaches to pay attention too. Here we go, hope you enjoy the evaluations of these recognized girls.
2023, 6’4, C, Heritage HS, Amanda Muse Amanda Muse 6'4" | C Heritage HS | 2023 State CA – Amanda is very skilled in the paint as a player, I believe she is more skilled than her sister Abigail. With both of them in the game it is tough to rebound and to get shots when they are in your presence, because both are excellent shot blockers. Amanda is one inch bigger than her sister, her footwork is equivalent to her sisters as well as her scoring prowess.
2023, 5’7, PG, St. Mary Stockton HS, Brook Perry Brook Perry 5'7" | SG St. Marys Stockton | 2023 State CA – Brook is special as well with her size for as a freshman, we watched her use her size and body type to keep her defenders at bay. She is pretty crafty with the handles, shoots the ball well from all levels and is a very willing defender. She was able to use her vision and high IQ to keep her defenders guessing what she was going to do with the ball next. Great size for a freshman and her body type will only improve as she gets stronger and quicker.
2023, 5’5, PG, Mater Dei HS, Caia Elisaldez Caia Elisaldez 5'5" | PG Mater Dei HS | 2023 State CA – Very good point guard with a great tool kit for her age, she is quick, she is strong and she is a tough defender for her team. She has great handles, is able to make plays for her team and also punish you if you make a mistake, she will then just take you off the dribble to the rim or use her floater in the paint.
2023, 5’9, SG, Salesian HS, Nyana Asiasi Nyana Asiasi 5'9" | SG Rancho Madanos MS | 2023 State CA – Strong body type guard with a decent handle on her, she uses her size to get to the rim and impose her will on players. Shoots the midrange decently and can get to the rim and finish against contact. She is still developing as a defender, but she will get that under control as she develops more as a player.
2023, 5’9, SF, Valley View HS, Ari Long Ari Long 5'9" | SG Valley View HS | 2023 State CA – Tall and slender shooting guard with a nice stroke on her three ball and can get to the rim off the dribble as well. Makes the right plays on the floor for her teammates, sort of self-driven in her quest for greatness on the basketball court. Tenacious and long defender and is not afraid of a little competition with her rivals on the floor, this kid is gonna be a player in the near future.
