MVP- Kensie Black, 5-6 Franklin
Kensie (feature photo above) showed a lot of great things about her game last weekend. She is extremely athletic and can push the ball in transition. She is very quick and able to drive around her defender with good handles to score at the rim. Showed composure during the game, able to focus on making the next play. She has good range and solid handles. Moves well without the ball.
Morgyn Rose, 5-7 Huber Heights Wayne
What I like about her game is her ability to control the tempo and style of game. Morgyn (pictured left) is an athletic kid who has a lot of tools, with a strong ability to get past her defender to the rim and score and makes it look easy. She also will score from outside. Is able to be effective in many ways on the court. She has good court vision and a knack for being around the ball. Love her perimeter shot, bright future ahead.
Sophia Spangler, 5-8 Big Walnut
A very smooth player with good moves to the basket. She is dangerous from the three-point line. Defensively she sits low with active hands and will get after you. Sophia (pictured right) loves the transition game and will make plays happen north-south on the move. Great energy with a positive attitude that I like. Her and Teegan Ng play together in high school and will team up for quite a future.
Teegan Ng, 5-7 Big Walnut
Very aggressive player who loves to get after it, scrappy with great body control taking the ball to the basket. Her long, athletic body makes her a hard assignment to defend. Teegan (pictured left) can hurt you defensively with being a strong rebounder and offensively she has a good ability to score from beyond the arc. Very fundamentally sound and she is a player with a good future. Love her energy and drive to be the best.
