Two of them are experienced varsity contributors who look to build off of a good summer and continue to focus on playing at the next level. The other two are looking to make a name tor themselves at the varsity level this coming season.
Lonna Heath, 5-8 2022, Sidney Fairlawn
Her game has really improved this summer, and is ready to take her game to another level this season. I love her effort on the court, her work ethic and the fact that she has added to her game. Lonna (feature photo above) can shoot the light out from the perimeter including from beyond the arc. She can also score around the rim and put the ball on the floor and score. Her handles have improved as she has been working hard to strengthen that aspect of her game. Smart basketball IQ.
Sidney Morris, 5-7 2022, Carlisle
Speaking of lighting up a defense, Sidney (pictured left) is a player who makes a living by causing problems for her opponents from the outside. She isn’t afraid to let it fly against anyone, and that is the strongest aspect of her game. She has good handles and moves well to get into position to score. Has good court vision and is a solid passer.
Skylar Fletcher, 5-7 2023, Greenville
Skylar (pictured right) did some good things at this event, including showing her desire to get better. She is a hard working sophomore who saw her stick rise just by performing well at the Showcase. Look for her to expand her game this season as she will be a key player to the success of the Green Wave. Aggressive, smart player with good handles, quick feet and a good sense of what she is supposed to do. Watch for her game to grow as the season progresses.
Minaxi Pandey, 5-6 2023, Greenville
Excited to see what the future of Minaxi (pictured left) holds as she without question faced the toughest competition she has ever faced at this event. She put in great effort and took home a lot to work on. She is athletic and as she continues to develop her skill level, she will be a factor in Greenville’s success. She has a wide open ceiling and will go as far as she wants to with good work ethic and dedication to the game.
