It is that time of year and a number of players and coaches have been on the move. We take a look at some of the player moves at the high school level.
Florida Prep players transfer to Palm Bay Magnet.
With Head Coach EJ Murray stepping down as Head Coach at Florida Prep after winning multiple state championships and joining the sidelines as an Assistant Coach at Palm Bay, a number of Florida Prep players have followed including:

DME Academy loads up on new players to its roster.
DME welcomes Rickey Claitt as its National Team Coach and adds Jermaine Ashley as the Post Grad coach. The pair has been hard at work adding additions to its rosters including:

Keys Gate players on the move to Silver Springs
Keys Gate made back to back trips to Lakeland in the FHSAA Final 4. A number of players have followed Head Coach Benjamin Drummer after he departed Keys Gate for Silver Springs. Following Coach Drummer to Silver Springs are:

Montverde adds to an already talented roster
Montverde Academy was one the state’s most talented rosters last season. The roster has always been filled with international talent and new head coach Special Jennings continues the trend adding several foreign players. FSU commit Mariana Valenzuela Mariana Valenzuela 6'2" | PF Montverde Academy | 2021 State FL , 2022 sharp shooter Fernanda Ovalle Fernanda Ovalle 5'11" | SF Montverde Academy | 2022 State FL , and others return while they welcome several major transfers including:

Turral twins return to FAMU DRS
Erin Turral Erin Turral 5'6" | CG FAMU DRS | 2021 State #77 Nation FL has been one of the state’s top scorers for the last three years averaging 30+ points per game including finishing # 3 in the state in scoring last season at 30.8 points per game according to Maxpreps. The recent Stony Brook verbal commit departs Lincoln HS and will close out her prep basketball career with her twin sister Erica at Florida A&M University Developmental Research School (FAMU DRS) where they were part of three state championship titles as middle schoolers.
Ring Sisters transfer to West Oaks Academy
The talented duo of 2021 Amou Ring Amou Ring 6'2" | PF West Oaks Academy | 2021 State FL and her younger sister 2022 Adout Ring Adout Ring 6'3" | PF West Oaks Academy | 2022 State FL have transferred from the Rock School in Gainesville to West Oaks Academy. Both are extremely intriguing prospects with exceptional length and tremendous potential as they continue to grow into their bodies and get stronger.
Several players depart Miami Country Day
Powerhouse Miami Country Day is always loaded with talent and probably one of the few programs that can have several high level players depart and still compete for a state championship and nationally. Their 2022 star guards Sydney Shaw Sydney Shaw 5'9" | SG DME Academy | 2022 State FL and Emani Theodule Emani Theodule 5'6" | CG American Heritage | 2022 State FL have transferred to American Heritage (Plantation) while young, up and coming 2024 guard Khadee Hession Khadee Hession 5'10" | CG St Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL has landed at (American Heritage Delray).
