Her reaction time in stealing is spot on- really anticipates the next move. She gets easy buckets with her speed and steals. Solid court vision, and great passer who puts some zip on them.
#472 Abby Holtman, 5’11, 2023, Ryle (KY)- All she needs is .5 seconds or less to get her feet set- and she’s money from the 3 point arc! Very nice shot, and can hit the 15 footers. She uses her length well by attacking the hoop and finishing strong. Has nice handles, and plays consistently hard. Good defender and rebounder. Makes great decisions on transition- all around solid player. Keep your eye on her!
#480 Ameia Smith, 6’1, 2024, St. Thomas Aquinas- With her size and skills she’s shown already as a freshman, she’s going to have a very bright future! Her long frame allows her the ability to play inside and out. Runs the floor well on transition, and crashes the boards. She can attack the rim well from the perimeter. Impressed with how she’s always moving, cutting to the basket.
#262 Airah Lavy, 5’9, 2024, Nelsonville-York- The sky is the limit for Airah- athletic build, with speed, and solid handles. Good defender and rebounder. She is a tough guard who competes on both ends of the floor. Can shoot from behind the 3 point arc, as well as mid-range shots, and definitely not afraid to take it to the basket! She’s a play maker, knows what to do with the basketball, and is only going to continue getting better! (Featured Photo)
#498 Kennedy Younkin, 6’1, 2024, Teays Valley- Remember her name! Kennedy is really developing her inside game. Her height and size gives opponents issues in shooting inside. No doubt can rebound the ball, and put up easy buckets. Uses the backboard well, her footwork on the block is solid, and she has good hands. Hard worker and has got so much potential!
