The OGBR Top 64 featured over 300 standouts, playing in front of D2, D3 and NAIA head coaches, while many more D1 coaches watched via live stream. This week – we look at many of the day’s top performers – some who you most likely already know and others who made a name for themselves on Sunday.
Miah Otoole – 5’10 Wing – Milford – Class of 2023
Miah (pictured above) was one of the top players in the day’s second session of games. She showed flashes of domination on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she is the ultimate mismatch – scoring both inside and out – with the ability to shoot the 3 at an impressive clip. She covers ground with the ball in her hands – putting constant pressure on the defense.
Sinai Douglas – 5’4 Guard – Start – Class of 2024
Douglas is a true combo guard who can initiate her team’s offense or score in bunches as the off-guard. She gets buckets in quick bursts, using her impressive ball-handling ability to keep defenders off balance. Sinai looks to be in outstanding shape – playing hard for long stretches at a time on both ends of the floor.
Helen Holley – 6’1 Forward – Laurel – Class of 2024
Holley jumps out of the gym – causing havoc all over the floor. She is an elite offensive rebounder, rebounding the misses of her teammates and putting them back at a high rate. Helen has long arms that make it seemingly impossible to get good passing/scoring angles when she is guarding you.
Abby Holtman – 5’11 Guard – Ryle (KY) – Class of 2023
Holtman is a true playmaking point-forward who plays with special instincts. Abby scores at all 3 levels with a creative offensive game – using herky-jerky movements, hesitation dribbles, eurosteps and bodyfakes. She has outsatnding handles, especially for a girl with her size.
Ariana Crockett – 5’7 Guard – Kent Roosevelt – Class of 2023
Ariana is a guard who shoots the ball with great confidence from range. She plays under control and rarely forces the issue – always making the right play. It only takes a few minutes to see that Ariana makes her teammates better consistently.
