The OGBR Top 64 featured over 300 standouts, playing in front of D2, D3 and NAIA head coaches, while many more D1 coaches watched via live stream. This week – we look at many of the day’s top performers – some who you most likely already know and others who made a name for themselves on Sunday.
KK Bransford KK Bransford 5'11" | PG Mount Notre Dame | 2022 State #6 Nation OH – 5’11 Guard – Mount Notre Dame – Class of 2022
Bransford – who already possesses a gold medal from playing with USA Basketball in the 2019 FIBA U16’s – showed everyone at the TOP 64 why she is the consensus #1 player in the class of 2022. She is an elite on-ball defender, seemingly picking the pockets of anyone who dribbled near her, while also dominating the glass and playing with the explosive level of physicality that she has become known for.
Lexie Moore – 5’10 Wing – Owen County (KY) – Class of 2022
Moore is a high scoring wing with good size at nearly 6-feet tall. She is a lefty who is comfortable as a slasher – mixing it up in the paint with 4’s and 5’s. However, one of her most effective skills in her smooth stroke – which extends out well beyond the 3-point line.
Alexis Cashwell – 5’9 Guard – Bishop Hartley – Class of 2021
Cashwell is the ultimate glue girl. She rarely makes an incorrect decision with the ball in her hands. The left-handed combo-guard shoots the 3 well and has the frame to add muscle, which will help her finish through contact more efficiently at the next level.
Chloe Jeffers – 5’9 Guard – Delaware Hayes – Class of 2022
Jeffers has outstanding handles – with good size. She is a tremendous playmaker with great court vision. Although Chloe is a solid scorer – she gets her teammates open looks at a high rate. A strong finisher with both hands through contact at the rim – Chloe will step out and knock the 3-ball down, as well.
Trinity Ramos – 5’5 Guard – Reynoldsburg – Class of 2022
Ramos – part of what should be an absolutely loaded Reynoldsburg group this winter – was one of the stars of the first set of games at the Top 64. She is an elite shooter of the basketball, whether it be in catch-and-shoot situations or with an impressive step-back to either hand. Trinity is a good decision maker who more than holds her own defensively.
