Rankings Update- ’22 Stock Risers Part 4

Today a final look at the stock risers from the 2022 class in the latest PGH Ohio rankings update. Watch for an update on some kids who made their debut in the rankings in a later story before we head into the class of 2023 later this week. [player_tooltip player_id="92538" first="Brooklyn" last="Thrash"], 5-8 CG, Elmwood I love this kids energy on the court, as she continues to improve her game. Strong in the paint and able to rebound and defend a more physical player. Good touch on the perimeter, has solid handles and a desire to get the ball. Exciting player to watch as she can take over a game at any time. Moves well, good footwork and fundamentally sound and a leader. Moves up from #17 to #16. [player_tooltip player_id="32601" first="Haley" last="Crozier"], 5-6 CG, Springboro Her game has really improved over the years as she has more tools to work with. Used to be known as a spot shooter, she can do a lot more as she works on her game. Haley (feature photo) handles the ball well with both hands, able to shoot off the pass well. Can score from deep beyond the arc or put the ball on the floor and get past her defender. Love her energy and attitude. Will make someone a very nice guard at the next level. Haley enters the top 50 from the Watch List at #39. [player_tooltip player_id="212896" first="Carly" last="Maple"], 5-8 CG, Sylvania Northview I got to see her at an event recently and one thing I loved the most about her game is her leadership skills. She plays with the same emotion whether winning or losing, she just means business. She will get her teammates involved and set her team up for the best shot. She can score in many ways, one being a solid north-south player in an uptempo style of game. Can score from inside or out, and her basketball IQ as I mentioned in an earlier article is very solid. Carly debuts in the rankings at #44. [player_tooltip player_id="159368" first="Jayne" last="Six"], 6-1 PF, Trimble Jayne is a strong physical back-to-the-basket post who can take control of the paint well. She has good hands and body control where she can power it up from either side of the rim with either hand. Exceptional rebounder including the offensive end where she will take advantage of good positioning and upper body strength to score on the put-back. Solid defensively with good active hands. Alters and blocks shots well. Jayne moves up to #49 from the Watch List. [player_tooltip player_id="212901" first="Lannah" last="Prysi"], 5-11 SF, Fairfield Christian Good multidimensional player who can score from inside our outside. Has good range from out beyond the arc, shoots well off the pass. Quick release and confident in her perimeter game. Also can defend anyone, plays bigger than 5-11 in the paint, good shot blocking ability and solid on the boards. Makes her debut in the rankings on the Watch List.
