Katie Leeth- 2023, Center, #23, Lincoln High School (Lincoln, CA)
Katie Leeth is an aggressive player with lots of fire and determination. Leeth has the ability to drive to the basket with her right hand without issues. She can probably work on driving to the basket with her left hand more. Although, her dribbling on her right hand is pretty impressive. Katie is very confident in driving when it comes to the right hand. Katie averaged 10.0 PPG and scored a total of 289 points during her Freshman season. She also averaged 9.2 RPG, 2.2 SPG, and 3.2 BPG. Leeth also had a 41% field-goal percentage and had a 45% free-throw percentage. The only thing I would say for Katie to improve on is her left-hand dribbling skills, and her shooting can improve as well. Nonetheless, even though there are improvements to be made, she is still an outstanding player. Katie is a really confident player, and I know will work hard to get better at her game. Her team only lost 5 out of 31 games last season, and that is pretty good. Leeth no doubt helped assist in her team’s success.
Lulu Voss- 2023, Guard, #12, Rio Americano High School (Sacramento, CA)
Lulu Voss is talented in all aspects of the game. She is always willing to do it all for her team, especially when it comes to defense. She is very skilled at getting steals. Voss is willing to dive for balls when nearby and that shoes that she is determined. She isn’t afraid to get some bumps and bruises. Voss can adapt to any situation no matter what is going on. Lulu averaged 6.0 PPG and scored a total of 105 points total during her freshman season. She also averaged 6.4 RPG, 1.4 APG, and 2.6 SPG. Her field-goal percentage was 41%. Like I said before, she is very determined, and she is willing to go up against many defenders to score. Lulu Voss is multi-skilled and resourceful throughout each game she plays. Voss has a knack for stealing the ball, she knows how to do it well without fouling her opponent. I’m looking forward to seeing how much Voss will improve for the rest of her high school career.
Athena Brombacher- 2023, Shooting Guard and Small Forward, #13, Wood High School(Vacaville, CA)
Atena is an athletic individual with a lot of spunk. She is quick to react to every play and doesn’t fumble most of her rebounds. She is one of the biggest hustlers on the court and can adapt to every situation. Her quickness helps with her ability to rebound the ball so easily, and she can put shots back up against a defender. Athena knows how to work her body to her advantage. Athena averaged 6.5 PPG and scored a total of 136 points during her freshman year. She also had a 40% field-goal percentage, and a 44% free-throw percentage. Her specialty is definitely getting rebounds, averaged 7.4 RPG. Athena is sharp-witted when it comes to being down low and getting rebounds, on the offensive and defensive end. She does everything at high-speed. Athena is a great asset to any team and has the ability to play at the collegiate level. I do not doubt that her statistics will be higher in the upcoming years.
