The Prep Girls Hoops first event in the Palmetto State went off very well in my opinion. The girls brought the excitement and action to the Myrtle Beach Sports Center on Sunday. Lets take a look at some of the 2021 Class Top Performers from the event. All week long Prep Girls Hoops will be providing coverage from the event. Hill was great all day long with her play. Hill would attack the rack constantly and was able to finish at a high percentage. Hill helped Saluda HS (20-2) last season after averaging 18.2 ppg and 10 rebounds last season for the Lady Tigers. Hill enters her senior season with 1,027 career points. Hill really excelled in the transition game and filled the lane very nicely on the offensive end. Hill scored 26 points in the game we watched today. Hill was all over the floor finishing up plays and grabbing rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="175295" first="Vanessa" last="Blake"] - Ashley Ridge HS
Blake a legit post player is a bit of rim runner with her ability to run the floor. Blake works hard in the paint to gain position and has the ability to play with her back to the basket. Blake is active around the cup with put-backs on the glass. Blake was vocal on and off the floor with her teammates in a positive way with her communication.

[player_tooltip player_id="172490" first="Jasmine" last="Norman"] - Marlboro County HS (Bennettsville)
Norman came out on fire here early on. Norman is a SCORER and shows that while playing. Norman was able to knockdown perimeter jumpers and leak out in transition for some cheapies. Norman averaged just over 17 ppg last season for the Lady Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id="171736" first="Daveona" last="Hatchell"] - North Myrtle Beach HS
Hatchell was great down low in the post all day long. Hatchell used her left-handed on several occasions to finish at the basket. Hatchell will draw contact down low. Hatchell has a good set of hands and shows to have good footwork. Hatchell seems to be the most effective closer to the basket at times than outside the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="206617" first="Morgan" last="Kelly"] - Blythewood HS
Kelly was great today with her play and was featured earlier on First Impressions article. Kelly was able to get the ball into the lane with her toughness and grit, Kelly is a tough kid and it showed on the floor today. Kelly was able to defend off other guards who stood in the way to the cup.
