The Myrtle Beach Sports Center hosted some of the best girls basketball talent in the region as they took part in the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo.
Among several of the top talents that were on hand for the hoops festivities were several from the Charleston area. Here are several from in and around the Lowcountry’s flagship city that balled out and will continue to garner the attention of hoops fans across the state as their careers continue to flourish.

[player_tooltip player_id="158943" first="Amiyah" last="Ferguson"] – Northwood Academy – 2023 – She was on a team that included [player_tooltip player_id="175293" first="Layla" last="Warren"] and [player_tooltip player_id="171741" first="Kimmie" last="Barnes"] and the Expo and certainly meshed well. This would not be a surprise to her closest of onlookers as well as Northwood Academy fans as she has displayed her ability to be an integral piece of the winning puzzle that was the 26-2 Chargers last year. Ferguson can certainly score as well as knows how to find her teammates being an effective and efficient passer. As her freshman season with the Chargers told onlookers, she is just getting started.

For those that watched on Baller TV, her team was trailing in one of the games and she spearheaded a rally that eventually got her team the lead – and a win.
[player_tooltip player_id="171791" first="Peighton" last="Jambor"] – Berkeley High School – 2023 – Berkeley’s future seasons will be anything but “Stag”-nant as long as they have Jambor under the rim for this rising team. At the Expo, she showcased exactly why her star will continue to rise in South Carolina hoops circles. Coaches want their frontcourt players to be able to score high-percentage shots as well as rebound on either end of the floor. Jambor does all of these things and is why the Stags have plenty to look forward to.
