The Ohio Heritage Conference is broken down into two divisions, the North and the South. The teams who make up the North are Fairbanks, Mechanicsburg, Northeastern, Triad, West Jefferson and West Liberty Salem.

<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;">4 Thoughts on the League</span></strong>
It’s double trouble at Triad again this season, as twins Frani and Cati LeVan look to close out their career with a successful season. The senior guards both have the ability to score from the perimeter and have the tools of a solid floor leader.
What a player Selena Weaver has grown into at West Liberty Salem. The 6-foot senior is the top post in the North and has a lot of tools in the paint, is a solid rebounder and can run the floor well in transition. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id="32610" first="Emily" last="Hollar"] is one of the most versatile guards in the conference who can score, defend and run the offense.
The reigns at Mechanicsburg have been handed over to [player_tooltip player_id="211752" first="Grace" last="Forrest"] as Kasey Schipfer, the all-state guard, has moved into the next level. Forrest is a complete guard with unlimited range and excellent handles. She will be one of the big playmakers in the conference this season.
One player who may open peoples eyes this season is Bree Weber, who is a sophomore guard at Northeastern. Great court vision and a gutsy player, but can be too unselfish at times. Needs to be more of an assertive scorer, and I look for her to take that responsibility this season.

Northeastern has hired Preston Myers, who comes over from Indiana where he coached at a variety of levels. He brings a breath of fresh air to a program that has struggled the last couple of years. He will look to implement a new winning style of play with the Jets, and added longtime coach Cindy Erwin to build the middle school program.
One player who will be recovering this season is Dani Schipfer, who would have been a key contributor with Mechanicsburg this season. The improved sophomore will miss the season with an ACL injury, and looks to take this season to continue to learn about the game from a new perspective, on the bench. She expects to make a strong return later in 2021.
