Meskwaki Settlement put together its fourth consecutive winning season, finishing with 14 victories last year - the most for the school since going 22-3 in 2012-13. Ten of the 11 players on that roster return, but leading scorer and rebounder [player_tooltip player_id="135158" first="Payton" last="Tahahwah"] has moved on. Shye Johnson, Deandra Navarro, Summer Youngbear and Geanna Bear all were key regulars. Bear had over 100 rebounds and 50 assists with Navarro adding 30 made three-pointers.

Over the past two seasons, MFL MarMac has been tough, going 40-5 during that span. The Bulldogs captured the Upper Iowa Conference title, but lost several key starters. The good news is that senior [player_tooltip player_id="164980" first="Kayden" last="Gillitzer"] and junior Miranda Lang return. Gillitzer knocked down 19 three-pointers and shot nearly 34 percent from deep. A handful of others also saw valuable court time and are back.

Arianna Hacke and Allison Paulsen will try to lead the turnaround at Midland. Hacke, a senior, scored over eight points per game to lead the Eagles while also dishing out 51 assists. Paulsen, a junior, grabbed a team-high 140 rebounds, averaging nearly three per game on the offensive end. They are two of nine players set to return alongside starters Elizabeth Soper, Ella Rupp and Hope Saroka.

Mid-Prairie was right there in terms of securing a winning record, as the Golden Hawks finished 7-15 with six of those 15 defeats coming by single digits. Senior [player_tooltip player_id="165028" first="Myah" last="Lugar"] returns after leading the team in scoring and rebounding a year ago alongside sophomore Amara Jones, who had 64 assists as a newcomer.
