<span style="font-weight: 400;">Last season the team was led by Oostburg. The team finished with a 16-3 conference record. The team was led by </span><b>Kelsie Dulmes. </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">She was selected First Team All Conference while averaging 16 points per game. She added 10 rebounds per game as well. Senior forward </span><b>Ella Ten Pas</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> has been an impact player and will be essential for success this season as well. She averaged 11 points per game and led her team in rebounding with a little over 10 boards per game. She does a great job deflecting passes and being an intimidator in the lane. She averaged 2.6 steals per game. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Ozaukee finished second in the conference with a 15-4 record. The team was led by graduate guard </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Becca Schauer.</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> She earned Player of the Year and First Team. Losing her this season will be hard for Ozaukee but the returning players seem to be ready and able to fill such a large void. </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="204142" first="Gabby" last="Klas"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> will be an essential player for this team as well. She earned Second Team last season.</span><b> Cami Miller</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> will be a key player for Ozaukee this season. A dominant rebounder, Miller averaged 7 boards per game last season. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Random Lake finished fourth in conference play with an 11-8 record. The team was led by senior </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="202308" first="McKenna" last="Armstrong"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">. She earned First Team last season. </span><b>Ashley Gruman </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">will also be a key player for her team this season as well. She earned Second Team last season and played some key minutes for this team. Gruman finished second in scoring with 10.4 points per game. The floor general for this squad, Gruman does well finding her teammates open and works great alongside Armstrong. Gruman led her team in assists with nearly 4 per game. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The rest of the conference consists of Kohler, Cedar Grove- Belgium, Sheboygan Christian and Sheboygan Lutheran. </span>
<b><i>Take a look at a few returning players posed to make an impact this season. </i></b>
<b>Grace VanEss | Sheboygan Christian | Junior | 5’8 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">VanEss averaged 8 points per game during her sophomore season and played a large role on this squad. She moves well with the ball on offense and seems very comfortable controlling the tempo. She does well pounding the ball and being patient waiting for her shot offensively. VanEss worked well off of her teammates last season and does well finding her teammates open as well. Her court vision is advanced and her ball distribution will be key for her team’s success this season. </span>
<b>Alyssa Mentink | Cedar Grove- Belgium | Senior | 5’8 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Mentink earned Honorable Mention last season and showed glimpses of how elite she can be on the offensive end. She can handle the ball well and does well handling the pressure bringing up the basketball. She led her team in scoring with nearly 10 points per game. A sniper from beyond the arc, Mentink made 53 three point baskets as a junior. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="202308" first="McKenna" last="Armstrong"] | Random Lake | Senior | 5’10 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Armstrong is a three level scorer who really can create for herself in the open court. She’s consistent and smart on the floor- her shot selection is elite. She averaged nearly 14 points per game last season. Armstrong has the green light on offense and does well putting points on the board for her team. She can knock it down from deep as well. She finished her junior season with nearly 40 made three point baskets. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="204142" first="Gabby" last="Klas"] | Ozaukee | Junior | 5’10 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Klas has such an impressive game with an extremely high ceiling. She clearly has a high basketball IQ, shown by her movement on the floor and ability to make a game for herself. She averaged 12 points per game last season and knocked down nearly 60 three point baskets per game. She can create off the dribble and is patient when selecting her shot. She is consistent on defense as well and is impactful in transition play. </span>
<b>Kelsie Dulmes | Oostburg | Senior | 5’11 F </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Dulmes is going to be a huge asset for her team this season and will have to play a huge role on the court as well. She can move without the ball and really creates the tempo on the floor. An inside scoring threat, Dulmes has fantastic footwork and finish moves on the glass. She showed glimpses of her court vision last season and did well finding her teammates open when she was double teamed. </span>
