A playmaker on the floor, Jones is a competitive athlete who will lead her teammates to one of the top spots in the conference. Playing alongside a lot of talent, Jones sticks out for her shot selection and movement on the floor. With or without the ball, Jones is a threat. While averaging 15.8 points per game, Jones was also able to dish out nearly 2.5 assists per game. She’s continuing to improve her defense and is fantastic in the open court. Jones has a quick release that is tough to stop on the perimeter.
[player_tooltip player_id="155779" first="Ja’Cia" last="Cunningham"] | School of Languages | Junior
Cunningham is such a talented point guard with so much opposite. A clear candidate for Player Of The Year, Cunningham is one of the best you will see compete this season. Her ability to get to the glass is unmatched. Last season she averaged 12.8 points per game. She is a three level scorer who is incredibly patient and consistent. She will not force anything on either end and is smart enough to make the right read. In a matchup against Milwaukee Madison, Cunningham scored a season-high 23 points. Look for her to have a huge leadership role this season and watch how she gets her teammates involved to ultimately make them both successful. Cunningham holds an offer from Chicago State and Long Island University.
[player_tooltip player_id="202309" first="Marchelle" last="Bowden"] | Hamilton | Senior
Bowden finished second in the conference in scoring and put up some crazy numbers during her junior season. She averaged 18.6 points per game. A lights out shooter, Bowden creates a game for herself. In a matchup against Milwaukee Academy of Science, Bowden scored a season-high 35 points for her team. She can attack off the dribble or knock it down from deep. Bowden does an incredible job shaking the defense and finishing strong at the rim. She’s a beast on the glass and sees so much success on the offensive boards. She averaged 14.2 rebounds per game.
Breyia Horton | Washington | Senior | 5’7 G
Horton is an incredible athlete with great upside for her senior season. Last season she averaged 8.2 points per game but was pretty quite offensively. She didn’t take half as many shots as she could have and will most likely be much more aggressive this season. She gets herself open well and it’s exciting to watch. She’s comfortable taking almost anyone to the rack. She will also bring her opponent to the block and use her body to finish at the glass which is very impressive for someone her size.
Mikala Williams | Reagan | Senior

Dupree will certainly have to step up and play a much larger role this season. As a role player last season she really did everything right. She’s an intelligent player and it truly showed by the decisions she made on the floor. She moved without the ball and didn’t force anything on either end.
