The Blue Devils went 18-9 last year, reaching the Class 1A state tournament before coming up short vs. eventual runner-up Bishop Garrigan. Mason City pushed Ballard until a tough fourth quarter did them in during a 4A regional championship. Reed scored almost 16 points per game and is joined by Grace Overgaard and Riley Enfield.
