Sunday afternoon, Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ announced which school she will be taking her talents to in a couple of years.
The junior verbally committed to Princeton University. Princeton obviously has what St. Rose was looking for academically and athletically.
Last year as a sophomore, she was spectacular. The left-handed point guard is the definition of a two-way player. She is a lock-down defender, sets up her teammates for open shots and can score at will.
Her most memorable moment came when she scored 21 of her 36 points in the fourth quarter to lead St. John’s Vianney past St. Rose in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinal.
She averaged over 18 points per game for SJV, which finished last season nationally ranked and as the New Jersey Team of the Year.
St. Rose also had a very strong summer playing AAU for the Philadelphia Belles.
