Alexa Therien Alexa Therien 6'1" | SF Cherokee | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Cherokee
Therien might be one of the top players in the state, not just the Olympic. As a junior, she scored at will downlow leading to 447 points. Therien is an extremely strong player who can dominate on both ends. She knows how to get position and score around the rim.
Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ (2023) | Paul VI
As a freshman, Hidalgo made noise nationally and this led to her being featured on ESPN’s nationally rankings for the Class of 2023. She led the 24-3 Paul VI squad with 17 points per game. Her game is very smooth and far beyond her years. It will be exciting to see how Hidalgo continues to improve over the years.
Annaliah Maldonado (2021) | Camden Catholic
Maldonado stepped up as a junior and took over leadership roles all over the field. She led the team in both scoring and rebounding a season ago. Heading into the season, Camden Catholic will lean on Maldonado within the offense when they need a play.
Olivia Johnstone (2021) | Lenape
When Lenape needed a big play, they seemed to target Johnstone. The team finished 22-7 in 2019 and Johnstone was one of the biggest reasons why. Her court vision and IQ is extremely high which makes her dangerous. Johnstone will look to turn in another huge campaign in her final season at Lenape.
Giana Rullo (2021) | Eastern
Rullo was second in command for Eastern a season ago along with Kelli McGroarty. With McGroarty now gone, Rullo will take over as the No. 1 option. And she has the skillset to do it well. Rullo is a scorer and one who makes the players around her better. This is an important skill to have on a team looking to contend.
