Youtube Evals Class of 2021: Part 1 By Michael Wholey 11/8/20 5:00 PM EST In the COVID-19 2020 world we are living in, video and highlight films have become more and more prominent and important.  We will be posting evaluations from the videos weekly.  In Youtube Evals Class of 2021: Part 1 we take a look at some of the states 2021 prospects.    Johanna Bell Johanna Bell CG Miami Killian Senior HS | 2021 State FL (Miami Killian Senior HS) Solid point guard with great passing skills and 3-point shooting.  She is a steady guard who does good job mixing up getting her teammates involved in the team offense and looking to score.  Her range extends several feet beyond the 3-point line.   Athaliah Brown Athaliah Brown CG Fort Lauderdale HS | 2021 State FL (Fort Lauderdale HS) Slender built 3-point shooting.  You cannot leave her open because she can shoot if from 3 anywhere on the court.  Capable ball handler and decent passer but biggest strength is her deep range especially from the corner.   Ahliah Brown Ahliah Brown 5'7" | SG Raines | 2021 State FL (Raines High School / FGB) Active, strong shooting guard with quick release, good lift and deep three-point range. Has a quick, explosive first step and can get to the rack in a hurry.   She is an explosive scorer who can score from 3, mid-range and at the rim and is capable of going off for 30 any night!   Lakada Bryant Lakada Bryant 6'1" | PF West Orange | 2021 State FL (West Orange HS) Strong forward with mass.  She is extremely impactful in the paint.  She finishes well at the rim and is an excellent rebounder.  Her combination of her size, strength, and mass make her a big interior presence.   Chaniya Clark Chaniya Clark 6'2" | PF Fort Myers | 2021 State #96 Nation FL (Fort Myers HS / Team Knight) 6’4 skilled post that is deceptively mobile and has soft hands and good shooting touch.  When she secures low post position or is in the key, her mass makes her very challenging to move away from the rim and keep her away from the basket and off the boards.  She is very good finishing at the rim and can handle contact often drawing the foul and getting to free throw line.  Has great feel for game with excellent basketball IQ and guard like passing skills.   Kyla Cruz Kyla Cruz CG West Orange HS | 2021 State FL (Hoop Dreams Elite) 5’9 shooting guard who is deadly from the corner off the penetrate and kick.   Her shooting ability really spaces the floor and stretches the defense opening up penetration lanes for her teammates.   Chelsea Davis Chelsea Davis CG Palm Beach Gardens | 2021 State FL (Palm Beach Gardens) 6’4 post who controls the paint with her shot blocking and rebounding ability.  Opposing teams cannot let her get low post position as she has a great drop step and ability to finish with her right hand.  She does have ability to step out to the high post and knock down the elbow jump shot.   Tyler DeBose Tyler DeBose 5'9" | CG Santaluces | 2021 State FL (Santaluces HS / Wellington Wolves) Combination video displaying Tyler ball handling and open court moves in an Individual workout along with game footage.  The 5’9 guard biggest strength is the catch and shoot 3 either off penetrate and kick or ball reversal.  Athletic defender that is a solid on ball defender and gets on the floor for loose balls.   Ary Dizon Ary Dizon 6'2" | PF Carrollwood Day | 2021 State FL (Carrollwood Day School / FGB) 6’2 Forward with long, slender build and big wingspan.  She is a versatile post that plays inside and out.  Solid 15 feet range from high post and short corner.  Impactful rebounder and shot blocker who covers a lot of ground using her speed and length well.  She is athletic and runs the floor for easy buckets.   If you have a highlight film on youtube send to us directly at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com or DM on twitter at @WholeyPrepHoops.  We are working hard to make the @SUTSReport Youtube channel a main source for college coaches.
