<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>Thoughts on the Season</strong></span>
Delta has their top six scorers back from last year, including five seniors. Brooklyn Green, Brooklyn Wymer and Braelyn Wymer all have lettered for three years with Reagan Rouleau earning two letter. This is a defensive oriented team who can put a lot of pressure on their opponents. They play well together and share the ball consistently, looking for the hot hand. After starting last season 13-3, they lost four of their next six games, but are deeper and healthier than last year.
Bryan is a team who is coming off of the league title last season with nine returning letterwinners back. They return all five starters including Brooke Lamberson, the point guard, along with senior Kloee Antigo and junior guard Addie Arnold. They also have a solid bench with key players such as junior Delilah Taylor, junior Allie Zimmerman and senior Bre[player_tooltip player_id="215423" first="Anna" last="Long"].
Evergreen does a good job pushing the ball and focusing on their jobs. Their positive energy is contagious and they are going to surprise some people.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;">Fun Facts</span></strong></span>
The seniors at Delta have won 63 games so far in their career which includes the first two they have earned this season so far.
Bryan ended a very long drought last season with their league title, the first time they earned that honor in 27 years. Their last NWOAL title came in 1993.
One fun fact for Evergreen is how much price they take on how many times they dive on the ball for a loose ball. A scrappy bunch.
