Breakdown:
Reardon and Wheeler
Addie Reradon and [player_tooltip player_id="204579" first="Carly" last="Wheeler"] have a lot of similarities between their games. Two tough nosed defenders who get started on that end of the ball and translate it into offense. What is even more dangerous for Oregon Elite Gold is that they play well off each other and make plays for one another as an engaged tandem that is double the trouble. They combined for 24 points, 6 assists, and 7 steals as they routinely looked for one another all game long. This duo knows where each other are on the court because of the fact that they are so similar in style.
Bishop and Wilson
Another terrific two for Oregon Elite Gold are [player_tooltip player_id="158477" first="Emilia" last="Bishop"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158524" first="Lindsey" last="Wilson"]. Both bring a lot of size and discipline at the forward spot for their team as they both are rugged players who rebound exceptionally and score inside the paint. They combined for 14 points and 15 rebounds as they are a huge reason for Oregon Elite Gold’s success in the 28.5 League. Bishop likes to score right on the block and off the offensive boards whereas Wilson likes to patiently gain position before she gets a great look at the basket. With these two on the block, they have created difficulties for their opposition throughout the entirety of 28.5.
Other Standouts
Katelyn Heideman is a sharpshooter who has an incredibly quick release as well as other ways to score. She sank two from three out alongside the arc as well as an incredible floater in the lane. Megert sank a triple as well as an amazing lay-up in traffic. [player_tooltip player_id="158563" first="Rilyn" last="Quirke"] made her presence known as a team oriented player who is a great facilitator with size and high IQ. [player_tooltip player_id="207821" first="Gracie" last="Arnold"] brought added resilience at the forward spot as a rim protector who is incredibly rugged and physical. [player_tooltip player_id="207817" first="Reese" last="Ericson"] continued to show her cerebral abilities as a floor general who can make plays for others and defend with a high motor as well as scored when her number is called.
