Defense wins championships.  Or in Truitt Reilly Truitt Reilly 6'1" | PF Silverton | 2021 State OR ’s case – they win huge games against tremendous adversaries as her last second defensive case helped NW Stars Navy escape with a victory against a loaded Cal Sparks squad.  Emilia Bishop Emilia Bishop 6'1" | PF Wilsonville | 2021 State OR was a defensive force inside for Oregon Elite Gold, providing as a leader and mentor through action.  Cami Fulcher Cami Fulcher 5'8" | PG West Linn | 2021 State OR , steadfast and confident leader, showed a lot of poise and skill as an energetic defender for Oregon Elite Navy.  Afton Keeney Afton Keeney 6'0" | PF Westview | 2021 State OR was a brute force inside in Arizona for Clutch Cardinal whereas Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR was the elusive all-around defender for Clutch Rose.  Morgan Miller Morgan Miller 5'5" | PG Lincoln | 2023 State OR improved tremendously within the last months, having a particularly productive case for NW Stars White during their time at the TOC.

Emilia Bishop Emilia Bishop 6'1" | PF Wilsonville | 2021 State OR 2021 6’2″ PF Oregon Elite Gold/Wilsonville HS – Emi is flat out productive in the paint as a rim protector and rebounder as her game revolves around her ruggedness and physicality down-low.  She was a double-double machine for Oregon Elite Gold who snagged every rebound in her vicinity as well as was a one-person defensive wall for her team. 

Cami Fulcher Cami Fulcher 5'8" | PG West Linn | 2021 State OR 2021 5’8″ SG Oregon Elite Navy/West Linn HS – the West Linn native is a persistent, diligent, cerebral guard who makes a stand defensively who plays with tremendous effort which can be seen in her on-ball defensive stance.  She pesters her opposition until they make a mistake and capitalizes on it into the transition setting.  A two-way player who makes her initial claim defensively.  

Afton Keeney Afton Keeney 6'0" | PF Westview | 2021 State OR 2021 6’0″ PF Clutch Cardinal/Westview HS – Keeney is a fierce interior defender for Clutch Cardinal who collects a lot of rebounds as well as block shots with great consistency.  She plays with tremendous effort out on the floor and has ready hands for loose balls and steals.  Another player who is a one-person defensive stand for her team.  

Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 6’2″ PF Clutch Rose/Beaverton HS – an incredibly versatile player all over the floor, but definitely she is rather unique as she can truly defend all the positions out on the floor.  She is quick enough to defend alongside the perimeter with her length being an additional plus.  Spear is agile and has the strength and awareness to defend in the paint as well.  

Morgan Miller Morgan Miller 5'5" | PG Lincoln | 2023 State OR 2022 5’10″ SG NW Stars White/Lincoln HS – Morgan is a feisty perimeter defender for NW Stars White who makes her mark as an exuberant and hard-working guard.  She makes a lot of plays with this energy and effort as she gets into passing lanes and gets ahold of steals.  Miller was amongst players who improved tremendously and gained confidence for NW Stars White.

Truitt Reilly Truitt Reilly 6'1" | PF Silverton | 2021 State OR 2021 6’1″ NW Stars Navy/Silverton HS – Truitt is a highly disciplined and fundamental player for NW Stars who brings a lot of resilience and leadership – particularly on the defensive end.  Her biggest defensive stance came in the last possession of a highly touted contest versus Cal Sparks when she stopped 6’6” Clarice Akunwago to seal the win for her club.
