Leah Parnitzke | Howards Grove | 5’9 Senior
Known most for her ability to distribute the basketball, the senior has really become a well rounded player on the floor. Parnitzke has been an exciting spark plug on the scoreboard for this team so far this season. She’s definitely a player who can take off at any given moment. She utilizes the hesitation dribble and is so confident in isolation-like situations on offense. She’s shown great consistency with her ability to knock down the three point basket. In a win over a tough Reedsville team, Parnitzke scored 15 points for her team.
Sophie Uhlenberg | Ozaukee | 5’7 Junior
Uhlenberg has shown great patience and poise on the offensive end that has been very impressive to watch. She is averaging 12 points per game for Ozaukee. She consistently has put up impact numbers for this team and shown so much versatility. She’s crafty in the lane and really shocks defenders with how quick and how many moves she has in her bag. She utilizes her pivot so well and doesn’t shy away from taller defenders. In an exciting win over Berlin, Uhlenberg had a career game with 28 points.
Ella Feldmann | Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah | 5’7 Junior
A well developed guard who brings incredible energy to the floor, Feldmann has been able to effectively impact on both ends of the floor early this season. She is averaging nearly 9 points per game for her team. A sniper from beyond the arc, Feldmann does not shy away from attempting the three point basket. She has 10 three pointers made in the first four games this season. In a win against Kohler, Feldmann finished with 17 points per game and shot 67% from the floor.
Julia Nackers | St. Mary Catholic | 5’6 Senior
The senior has stepped up into a leadership role this season and has proven to be extremely versatile. She does it all for this team. She scores, rebounds and can distribute the ball tremendously well. Her ability to score in the lane is impressive- her shot selection is smart, she rarely forces anything and knows just the right time to pull up vs attack. In a win over Elkhart Lake, Nackers finished with 13 points for her team.
Ashley Gruman | Random Lake | 5’4 Senior
The senior is incredibly scrappy and quick. She really is an essential part of this team as the offense just seems to flow better when she is on the floor. Her basketball IQ seems rather high as her shot selection and movement without the ball are so elite. She’s put up consistent numbers for her team this season and has navigated them through some fantastic team wins. In a victory over Sheboygan Lutheran, Gruman finished with 18 points for her team. She is a lights out shooter from deep and is comfortable knocking it down from anywhere on the floor.
Emily DeMaster | Oostburg | 5’3 Senior
DeMaster is definitely a player to keep an eye on during her senior season- she’s been playing great basketball and it was exciting to watch. Her court vision is tremendous, she can really find her teammates open on a dime. She pushes the ball in transition and seems most comfortable playing high energy offense. Though she is not the primary scoring option, DeMaster could take over a game offensively with her ability to push the ball and finish from the outside. In a win over Sheboygan Lutheran, DeMaster finished with 15 points for her team. She showed great footwork as well guarding on the perimeter and has extremely active hands.
