[player_tooltip player_id="147738" first="Evie" last="Doezema"] (C, Grand Rapids Christian)
Doezema is one of the most fundamentally sound post defenders in Michigan. She rebounds, blocks shots, and defends her matchup, all at a high level.
[player_tooltip player_id="179087" first="Adelaide" last="Douglass"] (C, Mattawan)
Douglass is an imposing defender. She can seemingly move and manipulate opponents in the paint at her will.
[player_tooltip player_id="147791" first="Kate" last="Jacobs"] (C, Hartland)

Jacobs is tall and long, and she knows how to use it. When she walls up, there’s almost no way to attack through her.
[player_tooltip player_id="147765" first="Molly" last="Long"] (C, Grand Haven)
Long is a defensive force that regularly alters shots at the rim. She keeps her hands high and challenges every shot that she can in the paint.
[player_tooltip player_id="147752" first="Melanie" last="Moore"] (C, Madison Heights Bishop Foley)
Moore packs a lot of toughness and discipline in her game. These 2 assets help her qualify as an elite post defender in the junior class.
[player_tooltip player_id="147719" first="Alecsis" last="Smith"] (C, Bay City Central)
Smith cannot, and will not, be moved in the paint. She’s excellent at establishing defensive position and utilizes if effectively.
[player_tooltip player_id="227296" first="Zoe" last="Spoelman"] (PF, Grand Haven)

Spoelman is a must see defensive power forward in the class of 2022. She utilizes her excellent footwork and help side defense to be a specialist on that end of the floor.
[player_tooltip player_id="147746" first="Lauren" last="Sollom"] (PF, Hartland)
Sollom is long and athletic, and a very versatile forward. She can block shots and make life very difficult for any forward she matches up with.
[player_tooltip player_id="147748" first="Hannah" last="Toutant"] (C, Macomb Dakota)

Toutant is a center in it’s true mold, and she excels at being just that. She’s strong under the rim and finds the ball so she can challenge any would be shooter.
[player_tooltip player_id="147733" first="Sydney" last="Vis"] (PF, South Christian)
Vis is a fun defender to watch. She moves so well under the rim and plays very disciplined. Vis keeps her feet on the floor and stays out of foul trouble.
[player_tooltip player_id="178864" first="Tessa" last="Wagner"] (C, Carney-Nadeau)
Wagner is a must see defender in Michigan’s junior class. She has a prescience and a feel about her, and makes offenses attack around her.
[player_tooltip player_id="147734" first="Kendal" last="Zeiter"] (PF, Troy)
Zeiter should be considered a grade A post defender. She can play a physical game and can thrive under contact. Zeiter can also rise up quickly to challenge a shot.
