Sadie Foster- G, 2023, Western Brown Foster’s defense is impressive to watch. She sits low on defense, and is a scrappy type guard that deflects passes; her hands and feet are always moving, anticipating a steal. Can take the ball in the lane for nice buckets. Can knock down the pull-up jumpers and hit the three. Makes smart decisions when pushing the ball in transition. Solid player!
Caraline Kernan- G, 2022, Alter Caraline is someone that can drive hard to the rim, under control, and either hurt you with her pretty passes/ assists, or take the shots herself. Her mid range jump shots are consistent, and she can hit behind the arc. Has great vision and makes precise passes to her teammates, and her baseball passes are crisp! She runs the floor well, nice handles, and she’s a competitor!
Madalyn Mahoney- PG/SG, 2023, Fenwick She can shoot the lights out of the ball! Mahoney is a big-time threat from the arc, can hit the 3’s from anywhere! She creates these open shots with great court awareness, seeing the open spots on the floor. She can handle the ball well, has solid passing ability, and she’s overall consistent. She plays smart, competes, and plays hard!
Keyani Jackson- G, 2023, Marion Harding Very impressive game a few nights ago against Pleasant! Her athletic ability, combined with her height at 5’10, no doubt helps her on both ends of the court. She gives her team needed energy, can knock down shots behind the arc, as well as the 12-15 footers. I was impressed with her footwork, and how well she runs the floor. She’s got a motor that goes hard all game- Remember her name!
Brynn Griffith- C, 2021, Logan Elm This girl right here is buckets all day long in the paint! At 6’5, Brynn uses the backboard so well, has a soft touch in putting the ball in the basket. Her inside presence, in protecting the lane, and keeping her hands up, is a huge benefit for her team. She has so much potential, and college coaches are noticing her! I’m really excited for her future, and boy does she have the tools to do great things!
