Chloe Glenn, 5-11 2023, Ottawa Glandorf
Impressive rising star who showed me a lot last week. Love the face that she is a strong, physical kid with good hands around the basket. She does a great job anticipating the action well, and reacts to what is around her, She moves well without the ball and can beat you both inside and outside. Good range and can score off the bounce well. Very bright future for this Dayton Lady Hoopstar.
Kendall Braden Kendall Braden 5'9" | SG Toledo Christian | 2024 State OH 5-7 2024, Toledo Notre Dame
Saddled with early foul trouble, I didn’t get to see much of her until the flow of the game had been established, and once she reentered she showed why she is among the top recruits in the 2024 class in Ohio. She is very quick and handles the ball well. She showed a high basketball IQ and one of her best assets was her perimeter game. She is unfazed on the court and runs a solid transition game.
Dekota Smith, 5-6 2023, Toledo Notre Dame
Another rising star with TND was Dekota who showed a lot of positives. She showed good aggressiveness on the court, had a nose for the ball and played under control. She had a strong physical presence and showed ability to get the line. Solid all around game, made good decisions.
Brynn Briscoe, 5-6 2023, Versailles
Is she the next in line as a great Versailles Tiger? It may be to early to tell her full potential, but from what I saw, she does have a lot of promise. She plays solid on-ball defense with an aggressive style of play. Creates turnovers, is active and switches well. Showed a glimpse of a three-point threat. Keep an eye on this one as she continues to develop.
Maren McCallister Maren McCallister 5'11" | CG New Hope Christian | 2023 State OH , 5-9 2023, New Hope Christian
She is rising quickly with a great summer last year and a good start to her sophomore season. Maren is a player who is not afraid to mix it up and play through contact. Can get to the rim well and score. Also, a smooth outside game makes her a threat from anywhere on the court. I love her grittiness and desire to be great. Can play in transition and finish with either hand.
