</strong>Holyoke’s Dragons (8-0) won the nine-team Lower Platte decisively, by two games over Sedgwick County, Yuma and Wray. Yuma even tied for runner-up with a losing overall record (10-12). Merino came in at 5-3, adding to the length of the LP. There was some talent here and some things got done, including two state-qualifiers..
<strong>Which playoff team advanced the furthest?</strong>
Holyoke and Wray made it to the 2A quarterfinals. The Dragons enter ’20-21 on a 14-game roll, including a 47-34 quarterfinals victory over Ignacio. Holyoke (23-1) was the No. 2 seed and would have met No. 6 Sanford in the final four. Fifth-seeded Wray (17-8) fell 63-46 to No. 4 Del Norte in the quarters.
