Sibley-Ocheyedan experienced plenty of improvement last year, going from one win in 2018-19 to eight. Now, the focus is on improving upon that number. The Generals were a youth-dominated team with three freshmen leading them in scoring and rebounding. [player_tooltip player_id="127610" first="Madison" last="Brouwer"], [player_tooltip player_id="160559" first="Bria" last="Wasmund"] and [player_tooltip player_id="160573" first="Marissa" last="Ackerman"] were the focal points. Brouwer posted over 15 points and just under 10 rebounds per game, shooting nearly 49 percent from the field.

For the seventh consecutive season, Sidney posted double-digit wins and a winning record, going 14-8. They have three seasons of at least 20 wins during that stretch, as well. Chay Ward and Alexis Massey are among those set to return. Ward, a junior, averaged just over nine points a year ago while Massey led the Cowgirls in rebounds with 112.

For the third consecutive season, Sigourney won 18 games, advancing to the regional semifinals. The Savages have a string of seven straight winning years in the books. [player_tooltip player_id="131192" first="Kaylee" last="Weber"] takes over as the leader after posting 13.5 points and eight rebounds per game last year. The senior shot over 48 percent from the field and three of her boards a night came on the offensive end.

Following a run of 20-plus win campaigns, Sioux Center has picked up 20 victories total the past two seasons. The Warriors will look to key returnees such as Jacie Vander Wall, Hope Arends and Tara Horstman to get them back to the top. Vander Waal averaged 10 points and had 120 rebounds a year ago with Arends posting nearly nine points per game and Horstman over four rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="165033" first="Taylor" last="Krager"] and Kally Fahnlander look to keep the momentum going at Sioux Central this winter after winning 16 games a season ago. Krager averaged 12 points, shooting nearly 40 percent from the field. She also had 88 rebounds as a junior. Fahnlander posted 11 points and also had 88 rebounds, shooting nearly 32 percent from the 3-point line. The two dished out a combined 117 assists.
