Sizzling Performances!

<strong>Kenzie McConnell- 6’0, PF/C, 2021, Circleville:</strong>  This Ashland commit plays such a large role for Circleville. Strong basketball IQ, runs the floor so well, and she has great footwork. McConnell is a blocking machine in the paint, and plays so smart in not fouling opponents. She is not only a force on the block, but can shoot mid-range and 3's. Very strong free throw shooter, and defensively, she's a beast in going after rebounds. <strong>Jaylah Captain- 5’8, SG, 2021, Circleville: </strong>Captain is a talented, athletic guard, who can absolutely destroy opponents with her ability to drive to the rim, and shoot anywhere on the court, from midrange to behind the arc. She can control the game speed and tempo when she runs point, and has great court awareness on how to create great plays for her teammates. She can draw the foul and get to the charity stripe with no problem, and defensively, she's aggressive. Very impressed with her game! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160417" first="Sophia" last="Kline"]- 5’11, PF, 2023, Berne Union: </strong>This young sophomore has a very bright future! She works hard in the paint, and does an outstanding job denying passes and playing help side defense.  Her pick and rolls are spot on, and she has great athleticism- it is shown with her moves that look so natural. Great spin moves, and is so quick on the block- but she too can hit the 3's and mid range shots. Plays aggressively and with composure. She's very tough! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32593" first="Bella" last="Kline"]- 5’11, PG/SG, 2021, Berne Union: </strong>Bella is so fun to watch, plays with such poise, and her basketball IQ is outstanding. She is an exceptional player, who can do it all, both defensively and offensively; with her size, she can hurt you inside and outside. And her shooting.. is stellar! She can launch bombs all day long, and has a smooth release- no doubt at all, this player has spent countless hours developing her game, and it shows, every time she steps on the court. She's special. <strong>Mallory Ortiz- 5'9, SF/PF, 2021, Fisher Catholic:</strong> Very impressed with Mallory's game. She plays under control, and does a great job reading the defense. Anticipates passes and can go coast to coast with the ball. And her 3's- wow. She can shoot anywhere behind the arc! Quick release when shooting, confident, sees her teammates for open looks, solid handles. Her game is strong.
