Jessica Moore, 5-5 2023, Edgewood
This young lady has really opened some eyes this season. She is a key player for the unbeaten Edgewood Cougars and she continues to grow her game. She can hurt you from the perimeter and has good range to her shot. She is steady and improved at the guard spot. Good handles, and has become a good floor leader at a young age. Watch for her to show up soon when we go through some of the December Sleepers in Ohio. (feature photo above)

She has a gritty attitude and good work ethic to her. She is another player who has really stepped up her game and she is only a freshman. Still has those freshman moments like everyone does, but she is mature for her age. Good handles and body control. Can score in a variety of ways. Does a good job on the boards for her size and very quick and aggressive on defense. Good active hands creates turnovers for her team. Also can find the open player with the good pass. Great upside.
Stephanie Altstaetter, 5-10 2023, Indian Lake
I thought two players from Indian Lake showed a lot of upside and promise when I saw them last week. One was Stephanie who is a solid all-around improved player. She does a good job on the boards and does a nice job getting into position around the boards to score at the rim. She moves well and has good court vision. Smart basketball IQ, knows where to be on the court.
Allison Kinney Allison Kinney 5'10" | SF Indian Lake | 2023 OH , 5-11 2023, Indian Lake
Has shown me good improvement over last season as her production and productivity has really improved. Has nearly tripled her scoring average from last season, Allison is also good around the paint with good hands and footwork. She is a good catch-and-shoot finisher and has increased her range. She has also improved on her perimeter game, shooting nearly 45% from the three. Watch for her game to continue to blossom as she get older and better. (photo of Altstaetter and Kinney)
Olivia Sease, 5-7 2024, Franklin Monroe
With the loss of so many players from last year’s incredible team, Olivia has really showed a lot of good promise as a freshman this season. She gets plenty of help from experienced seniors, but her game showed me she can compete. Really moved well without the ball and in transition, she can push the ball north-south under control and find her open teammates. She has the ability to get to the rim and finish through contact.
