2021 Rankings Update: Top Sleepers

As we conclude our look at the 2021 rankings update, we peer off into some other players of significance that made an impact over the last few months.  Anna Dazey Anna Dazey 5'7" | PG Corvallis | 2021 State OR is a high-motor guard who plays with an intensity that is difficult to match.  Molly Block Molly Block 5'2" | SG Jesuit | 2021 State OR outwits her opponents through her elusive first step and fearlessly when the ball is in her hands.  Bridget Winthrop Bridget Winthrop 5'11" | PF Lincoln | 2021 State OR is a determined rim protector who makes her mark offensively as a passer and finisher.  Kasidy Javernick is a poised guard who plays with structure and patience on both ends of the floor.  Shakia Teague-Perry Shakia Teague-Perry 5'9" | PF South Medford | 2021 State OR is an interesting prospect in the form of an undersized forward who plays with a lot of heart.

Anna Dazey Anna Dazey 5'7" | PG Corvallis | 2021 State OR 2021 5’7″ PG Oregon Elite Bronze/Corvallis HS – Dazey is a hyperactive guard who makes plays all over the floor with her sixth sense, reaction time, and extra effort.  She is constantly pushing the tempo once the ball is in her hands whether it is a slick skip pass or hail-mary outlet pass.  Perhaps the most impressive thing offensively is her wicked finishing skills around the rim.  Defensively on the ball.

Molly Block Molly Block 5'2" | SG Jesuit | 2021 State OR 2021 5’3″ PG Clutch Cardinal/Jesuit HS – Molly is a point guard with a wide array of moves in her offensive repertoire as she is an incredibly crafty player in her regards to scoring.  She is quick and witty when the ball is in her hands, leading to floaters and three-pointers.  Block is a determined scorer and facilitator who is shifty and defensively she is just as engaged.  

Bridget Winthrop Bridget Winthrop 5'11" | PF Lincoln | 2021 State OR 2021 6’0″ PF Clutch Cardinal/Lincoln HS – Winthrop is a defensive specialist whose size allows her to do so but it is her patience and discipline which makes her stand-out.  She can initiate as a primary rim protector but also has great timing on the weak-side to help and ultimately get a block.  Offensively, she can finish around the rim and is a superb passer from the high/low post.  

Kasidy Javernick 2021 5’9″ SG NW Stars Navy/Tualatin HS – Javernick is a solid all-around guard who doesn’t excel in a particular thing out on the court – rather, she does it all.  She has a consistent three-point shot and doesn’t force or press the issue, rather it is part of her skill set.  Javernick is a steadfast point guard who plays at a calm pace but can amp it up when the tempo is accelerated.  

Shakia Teague-Perry Shakia Teague-Perry 5'9" | PF South Medford | 2021 State OR 2021 5’9″ PF South Medford – Teague-Perry is an undersized forward who plays with tremendous effort and motor out on the floor.  She is a gifted rebounder who has an athletic edge to her as she is rough around the edges and has good timing on the boards.  Plays with great feel defensively, while she is raw offensively she has the DNA of a tough basketball player.
