This weekend is the most anticipated weekend on the calendar every year during girls basketball season in Ohio. This year it will even be bigger.
Classic in the Country tips off on Saturday, and is a three-day event at Berlin Hiland High School in Northeast Ohio. Several of the top teams around Ohio will converge to Amish Country to compete in this prestigious event. Prep Girls Hoops will be covering this event on Sunday and Monday.
Also this weekend is the Journey to the Tourney event at Lakota West High School in Cincinnati. Rescheduled from November due to Covid, this event will encompass teams from mostly Southwest Ohio and some from other parts of Ohio. Both event will also bring in a team from out west. Prep Girls Hoops Ohio will be there covering this event on Saturday.

The max capacity for attendance in the gym will be 15% per the Local Health Department.
Each team will receive 100 tickets for their parents and fans. Any unused tickets will be sold to the general public. Cost is $10 per game. Follow twitter (@citcountry) to keep track of games with available tickets. Those tickets available will be sold 30 minutes prior to each game.
There will also be 40 one-day passes ($25) sold each day starting 90 minutes before the first game. Once all have been sold, no more will be made available for that day.
Also note, the gym will be cleared after each game. All social distancing and facial coverings will be required.
