Mahogany Cottingham Mahogany Cottingham 5'9" | CG Trinity | 2023 State OH , 5-9 2023, Garfield Heights Trinity
This was the second time I have seen her and she is very impressive. This sophomore really showed a lot of promise and leadership from a younger player. She has a good future ahead of her as college coaches already have her on the radar. She has excellent range and can score from beyond the arc. She also has very good athleticism to be able to get to the rim and score against her defender. She also can create shots for her teammates. One to watch during the summer travel ball season.
Kate Haubert, 5-8 2021, North Canton Hoover
Playing for a traditionally solid program, Katie fits the mold of what they have had in the past, she can produce for her team everyone on the court. I liked the way she could get to the basket, but also could score from the midrange. She seemed to be a player who got better as the game progressed, showed a knack for the ball, was active on defense and has a good basketball sense to make the right play.
Emily Walker, 5-6 2021, North Canton Hoover
Another solid member of Hoover and showcased her skills on the big stage of the Classic. Emily has the ability to put the ball on teh floor and get by her defender, finishing in the paint. She showed a good knowledge of the game, knew where to be and where to get the ball. Solid passer and good court awareness to find the open player.
Addison Melone, 5-2 2021, Las Vegas Bulldogs
This kid was the definition of a sparkplug. She was small but mighty, loved the way she used her quickness and skills to harass her opponent on defense with her good body control. She had excellent handles and created shots well. Good perimeter shooter and the kind of guard to make a team go. Don’t let her size fool you, she can play.
Mary McMorris, 5-5 2022, Las Vegas Bulldogs
Good strong physical guard with the skills to hurt you in multiple ways. Has the swagger to control a game at both ends of the court. Mary has great court vision and is able to create shots for her team. She was fun to watch and will be taking her game to Northern Arizona University.
