Cameron Jones, 6-2 2022, Magnificat
Cameron has a good flair for the ball, and controls the paint well. Good footwork and has a nice tough around the rim. She also is a solid defender with the ability to control the glass and secure the ball. She has another year to work in the summer and continue to improve her game. With the loss of three senior starters next season, expect her role to increase.
Angela Roshak, 6-0 2022, North Canton Hoover
She has a very solid performance in their win against Trinity, as Angela showed good range with her perimeter game out behind the arc. She was very fundamental and a solid on-ball defender. Can score in the paint with a floater and can defend multiple positions including solid post defense. Good rebounder and can lead the break. In her game, she scored 22 points on 9/13 shooting, grabbing nine rebounds and had a game high four steals.
Taylor Bigby, 6-0 2021, Las Vegas Bulldogs
She is headed to Oregon, and was impressive with her length and athleticism, showing a lot of creativity with her game. She moved well on the court and had a great swag to her game, with the ability to help her team in multiple ways. Good post defender with the ability to block and alter shots. She came back the third day and dropped 17 points leading them to a comeback win over Reynoldsburg. Bigtime talent with a bright future.
Maddie Vejsicky, 6-0 2022, Newark
Put on a great offensive show on Sunday with 23 points including five three-point shots connected from long range. Very active both offensively and stepped on on defense. Very smart aggressive player who is ready to take a bigger leadership role onto herself next season. Her and Gwen Stare Gwen Stare 5'9" | SG Newark | 2022 State OH are the only two returning starters next season, so this summer will be big for her. Her game just continues to improve, she is an exciting player to watch.
Emma Shumate Emma Shumate 6'1" | SG Newark | 2021 State #90 Nation OH , 6-1 2021, Newark
Love her game, she can do so much leading the Newark offense. She can play and defend every position on the court. Long and athletic with very polished ball handling skills. Defensively she is long and disruptive. Can alter shots at the rim and create opportunities for her team. Can definitely play north-south and shines in transition. Good rebounder. West Virginia signee.
