A sensational point guard who has the ability to put up impact numbers every time she steps onto the floor. She hit 1000 points this week for Lakeland. The point guard is averaging nearly 26 points per game. In a loss against Wausau West, Ouimette scored 39 points. She has the ability to score at every level and is confident when creating her shot within the offense. She’s crafty and has very smart shot selection. In a victory over Northland Pines, Ouimette scored 37 points for her team. Rebecca Lawrence | Rhinelander | 5’9 G | Senior Lawrence has been on fire this season and helped her team to some very impressive wins. She is an instinctively skilled guard with an ability to create, defend and score. Her handles are solid, she sees the floor well, she has a high level dribble penetration ability. Her perimeter stroke is smooth with range that extends beyond the arc as well. She has a nice feel and she sees the floor well making for a quality playmaking guard in half court sets and in the open court. This season she is averaging 23 points per game. In a win over Wausau East, Lawrence scored 35 points for her team. In another win over Medford, the senior scored 34 points. [player_tooltip player_id="209586" first="Teagan" last="Mallegni"] | McFarland | 5’11 F | Freshman Mallegni is having a breakout season this year. She is currently putting up 21.2 points per game and leading her team in rebounds as well. While Mallegni stands at 5’11 and has a strong build, there is plenty of skill to her game. She is an agile big that in addition to playing on the block, can play out on the perimeter. She can consistently knock down three pointers in addition to being able to put the ball on the floor. In a game earlier this season against Baraboo, Mallegni scored 29 points in the win. She seems to be becoming more and more versatile on the defensive end as well. In a win over Turner, Mallegni scored 27 points. [player_tooltip player_id="155764" first="Maya" last="White Eagle"] | Baraboo | 5’6 PG | Senior In a breakout senior campaign, Baraboo guard White- Eagle has picked up quite some attention from college coaches. She is averaging 20 points per game this season and is proving to be an elite floor general with extremely high potential. She scored 28 points in a game against a tough Janesville Craig squad. White- Eagle is a skilled scorer who shoots the ball from the perimeter at a high percentage. She also has the ability to create her own shot off the dribble and get to the basket. In a game against Edgewood, White- Eagle scored 33 points. In another win over Poynette she dropped 33 points as well. Arianna Smith | Shorewood | F | Sophomore Smith has been an exciting spark plug for Shorewood this season. She’s an athletic prospect who is just scratching the surface for how important she will be for this team in the years to come. She’s a solid scorer around the basket but is now showing an ability to face up and knock down the outside jumper more consistently while also being able to defend on the perimeter. She’s a quality athlete and the combination she brings of size, athleticism, toughness, skill and instincts makes for an intriguing prospect. She is averaging 20.2 points per game this season. In a game against Greenfield, Smith scored 27 points. In another game against a talented Brown Deer team, the sophomore scored 22 points. [player_tooltip player_id="155422" first="Abbie" last="Aalsma"] | Waupun | 5’9 G | Junior In a win over Ripon this season, Aalsma dropped a season-high 30 points for Waupaun. Aalsma handles the ball well, sees the floor, and she has the ability to score at all three levels. She has a smooth relaxed feel to her game and she plays with poise and confidence allowing her to deliver when it matters most. Her perimeter stroke is smooth from beyond the arc, she can attack off the bounce and finish through traffic, and she has the ability to score in transition. She can also score in half court sets with the ball in her hands or moving without the ball- she knows how to get quality looks. She is averaging 20 points per game this season. In a game against Beaver Dam, Aalsma led her team with 29 points.
