New Jersey’s Top 40 Rankings Regardless Of Class (Players 1-5)

With the start of the abbreviated girls basketball season just a couple of weeks away, we decided to rank New Jersey’s best players. Normally, player rankings are done by class. For the purpose of this eight-part series, we grouped everyone together. Let’s debate! <strong style="font-size: 1rem;">1. [player_tooltip player_id="134606" first="Olivia" last="Miles"], Blair:</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> The top-ranked point guard in the country has achieved a lifetime worth of accolades in her high school career. Her partner in crime, [player_tooltip player_id="134608" first="Dom" last="Darius"], left early for UCLA, so Blair will need Miles to do more. Trust us, the Notre Dame commit is up for the challenge.</span> <strong style="font-size: 1rem;">2. [player_tooltip player_id="134607" first="Destiny" last="Adams"], Manchester:</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> Manchester was hit hard by graduation and a couple of key players transferring out, but as long as the rugged Adams is on the court, the Hawks will still be one of the top teams in the Shore. Nobody means more to their team than Adams.</span> <strong style="font-size: 1rem;">3. [player_tooltip player_id="134635" first="Tabitha" last="Amanze"], Blair:</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> Amanze’s wing span is off the charts. She’s the best post player in the state. She’s crazy athletic, strong, fast and competes. The junior is going to make a college coach real happy soon.</span> <strong style="font-size: 1rem;">4. [player_tooltip player_id="134611" first="Christina" last="Dalce"], Rutgers Prep:</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> The Villanova-bound senior spent the entire summer and fall working on her ballhandling and shooting. That means trouble for the rest of the state.</span> <strong style="font-size: 1rem;">5. [player_tooltip player_id="134626" first="Madison" last="St. Rose"], St. John Vianney:</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> As a sophomore, St. Rose was the best player on the state’s best team. What will the Princeton-bound combo guard do for an encore?</span>
