The Olympic Conference is not large in size but the talent is there and that has been obvious over the years. That will be no different this season led by some of the best leaders in the state. Let’s take a look at some of these prospect for the 2021 season.
Alexa Therien Alexa Therien 6'1" | SF Cherokee | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Cherokee
This list begins with the junior center who led her team to a 30-1 record a season ago. Therien will be a leader on and off the floor this season for Cherokee. She finished with nearly 18 points per game and that dominance will continue in her final season.
Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ (2023) | Paul VI
Hidalgo made noise on the national stage during her freshman season. This was warranted as she led Paul VI in points, steals, assists, and free throws made. She is already one of the top players in the state and her game will only get better.
Nia Scott (2023) | Shawnee
Shawnee is losing three key seniors from a season ago. Scott is their leading returner as a sophomore. She will have to step into an extended role in just her second season. This is something she will be able to do in 2021.
Katie Kempter (2021) | Bishop Eustace
This is another situation where a player will have to step up into a bigger role. Bishop Eustace lost some key players but Kempter is ready to take over. She can get it done in many ways on the floor on both ends.
Annaliah Maldonado (2021) | Camden Catholic
Maldonado is the leading returner for Camden Catholic. They are hoping to take a step forward this season behind their No. 1 option on the offensive end. Maldonado will be able to get comfortable this season with the ball in her hands.
