Selina Torrez | Clintonville | 5’7 G Torrez is a consistent offensive threat for this team. She’s quick and versatile when attacking the basket. She was averaging nearly 10 points per game before a standout performance this week against Waupaca. She showed range far beyond the arc and knocked down 4 three point baskets in the win. She led her team with 14 points. [player_tooltip player_id="202240" first="Desiree" last="Kleiman"] | Mishicot | 6’0 SF Kleiman is a confident forward who is comfortable playing inside and out. She’s a high scoring prospect who takes over the game when she is on the floor. She uses her height well when finishing inside and has added a nice perimeter stroke. This week in a win over Random Lake, Kleiman led her team with 27 points and 8 rebounds. She’s a natural leader on the floor and does well facilitating her teammates and making the right read. She doesn’t force much on offense- instead uses her instincts to get herself and her teammates open. She’s a dominant force who uses her body well inside the lane as well. She finished with 24 points, leading all scorers. She’s a fierce competitor and it shows each minute. She gets up and down with speed and purpose. She moves well without the ball and is comfortable handling the ball and doing head to head in the post. She’s a confident scorer who will attempt the three point shot if you leave her open. In an impressive team win this week over Fort Atkinson the senior led her team with 19 points. [player_tooltip player_id="202241" first="Alyssa" last="Nimz"] | Catholic Memorial | 6’1 F The forward has been a tremendous athlete for her team this season. She’s putting up huge numbers and has been leading her team to some impressive wins. This week we watched the senior lead her team with 36 points and 12 rebounds. She continues to add so much to her game. She can finish well when attacking the rim. She’s smooth and consistent from behind the arc as well. In the win this week, Nimz knocked down 4 three point baskets. Hanna Stuedemann | D.C Everest | 5’9 G Entering her matchup this season she was averaging 10 points per game. She had a breakout performance this week in a 49-45 victory over Eau Claire North. The senior finished with 18 points in the win. She’s so crafty when finishing around the rim. She does not shy away from contact when attacking in the lane against taller defenders. She finishes well at the rim. She went 5-6 from the free throw line. She’s a three level scorer with the ability to create a play effortlessly. She came into the matchup this week averaging nearly 12 points per game. She’s a smart player with confidence to go up against almost anyone. This week she led her team with a dominant performance inside the lane and from behind the arc. Hirt finished with 24 points and 8 rebounds. She went 4-6 from the three point line. Bailey Baeten | West De Pere | 5’6 G In a 58-40 victory over Menasha, Baeten led her team with 14 points in the win. West De Pere is a phenomenal squad, stacked with talent. Baeten does a great job standing out by her ability to do the right things consistently. She plays at a smart tempo that allows her to see the floor well and make the right reads. She’s a fantastic passer with elite on court vision.
