<span style="font-weight: 400;">Programs all across the state look for athletes who can make an impact on the game. Those who do it consistently at a high clip, are the ones who tend to stand out the most. They are the engine behind their team’s success, as well as provide the energy and spark for their club. In this segment, we highlight a few talented young ladies who love to put the ball in the hoop. Their contributions provide an advantage for their team towards gaining that all-important W. When their teams need a lift, these girls love the challenge to fill it up. Here are a few leaders in the state of TN who put the ball in the cup!</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="245248" first="Sarah" last="Burton"] (SG, Clinton)</strong>- This junior shooting guard is shooting at a high clip for her ball team. Don’t let her 5’8 frame fool you. Sarah can fill it up with the best of them.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Ta’mia Scott- (Jr, Northwest)</strong>- Ta’mia possesses an all-around game that helps propel her team. She not only leads her team in scoring but in rebounds and blocks as well. She plays with a high motor, can get to the cup with ease, and creates havoc on both ends of the floor.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="245157" first="Gracie" last="Dodgen"] (Sr. White County)</strong>- Enough said. This young lady is the 3pt queen in the state of TN. This 2020-2021 campaign has seen her set both school and state records. Look for her to continue to shoot lights out the rest of the season, carrying over her stellar career to MTSU.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Brooke Dowlen (Jr., Jo Byrns)</strong>- This long, tall guard provides an advantage for her club every time she steps onto the floor. She leads her team in both points and assists. Look for her to continue to spark her club, as they look to make a run deep into the state tournament.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="245150" first="Jalynn" last="Gregory"] ( Sr. Macon County)-</strong> Is a threat on the offensive end. Teams have to gameplan to try to stop this talented young lady. She is an impressive offensive threat, who also contributes on the defensive end. The term " Me 4 Us" applies to this talented student-athlete. When she takes over the game, it makes other opportunities easier for her teammates.
