Top 2022 Prospects In Central Washington (Pt. 2)

I recently featured some of the top prospects in the central Washington area for the junior class and that list with short analysis can be found <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2021/01/top-2022-prospects-in-central-washington-pt-1/">here</a>. Part two will include some more solid recruitable players in the 2022 class from the same general region of central Washington. 2022 6’2 C [player_tooltip player_id="28423" first="Alexis" last="Stein"] (Kennewick HS) is a big, strong center that plays with great physicality and toughness in the paint. Stein does little things as a center that college coaches love to see. She sets hard screens, posts hard and makes her presence felt in the key. When healthy and in her best condition, Stein is a real force in this region. 2022 5’10 PF [player_tooltip player_id="27940" first="Taija" last="Mackey"] (Pasco HS) is a really solid small college prospect that would likely be best suited in the NWAC. She is a physically strong post player with great hands for grabbing rebounds and catching passes. Her offensive skill set could use some more polishing, but she can block shots, rebound and provide physicality to help her team win games. 2022 5’5 CG [player_tooltip player_id="27945" first="Mia" last="Rodriguez"] (Eisenhower HS) plays with a great basketball IQ and all around feel for the game. She can break down the defense off the bounce and make plays for herself or others. She is crafty and deceptive on the floor. A small college prospect in the ’22 class. 2022 5’8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="144533" first="Taleya" last="Maiden"] (Pasco HS) is an underrated player in this class. She has good athleticism and some natural ability. Maiden plays hard on both sides of the ball and she can really make plays in transition. Her offensive skill set has shown some improvement in the last couple years. A player to continue to track for a couple different levels of college.
