Nina Minicozzi – Belmont – G – JR
The junior sharpshooter kicked off the season in style, hitting the game-winner shot vs. Lexington. Minicozzi’s clutch performance capped off an 18-point outing in a 53-51 win.
Catherine Aggouras – Lexington – F – JR
In the 53-51 nail-biting loss to the Belmont Mauraders, no one stood out more than the 5’11 forward. Aggouras dominated the Mauraders with a game-high 29 points and showed she could be one of the Middlesex League’s best scorers.
Clare Flanagan – Arlington – G – SR
The senior guard kicked off her final varsity season with a 43-34 road win against Woburn. Flanagan led the Spy Ponders with a game-high 18 points.
Adriana Centrella – Melrose – SR
Centrella spoiled Stoneham’s home opener by dropping a team-best 16 points. In a 35-30 low scoring affair, Centrella set the tone on offense as a reliable scoring option for the Red Raiders.
Megan Doyle – Weymouth – FR
The freshman showed out in her first career game by almost outscoring the Wellesley Raiders by herself! Contributing 20 points in a 50-29 rout, Doyle appears to be a freshman who has the potential to be one of the top players in the Bay State Conference.
