Collen McQuillen (2021) | Cresskill
A list in the NJIC is hard to make without McQuillen leading off. She was one of the state’s leading scorers a season ago with 737 total points. She was able to get it done from all three levels finishing with 65 made three’s and 120 foul shots made. McQuillen also led Cresskill in assists with 72 and steals with 84.
Olivia Calderone (2021) | Midland Park
Calderone began to breakout as a junior and she will officially take the next step during her senior season. She already has the ability on the defensive end and has a chance to become a true two-way player.
Camille Arias (2021) | Manchester Regional
Arias is one of the leading returners for a Manchester Regional team that will need players to step up. Arias will have an extended role on the offensive end. She is already an elite defender on the perimeter with quick hands and feet.
Daniella Peschetti (2023) | Secaucus
Demaris Rodriguez is gone which means Peshetti will be the primary ball handler for Secaucus. This is good news for the team. She was able to get some much-needed experience as a freshman and showed that she is a viable option on both ends of the floor.
Carley Martin (2021) | Lyndhurst
Lyndhurst has some talent in the backcourt this season. Martin will lead the way. She finished with a team-high 69 assists and was second in made three’s a season ago. Martin has the skill to be the focal point of an offense this season.
Natalie Cara (2021) | Wood-Ridge
Cara led the team last season in many categories such as made three’s (66) and assists (80). She is an all-around player on the offensive end. She can set up her teammates using her elite passing ability and knock down a shot when open.
Ella Marchesani (2023) | Saddle Brook
Marchesani is an intriguing player to watch as a sophomore. Saddle Brook is losing Ashley Georgevich which means Marchesani will have to step up at the top of the offense. This is something she is ready for given her advanced leadership.
