<strong><span style="font-size: 18pt;">2022 Standouts Of The Week: Feb 1-6</span></strong>
<b>Below is a list of Juniors who had impressive performances this week. </b>
<i><span style="font-weight: 400;">February 1st-6th. </span></i>
<b>Lexi Swanson | Johnson Creek | 5’10 F </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Swanson is so versatile on the floor. She can score at all three levels and handle the ball as well. She can push the ball in transition and will finish at the rim with ease. She handles contact in the lane well and finishes strong or draws the foul. In a victory over Horicon this week, Swanson scored a game high 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="132375" first="Grace" last="Schmidt"] | Watertown Luther Prep | 6’1 F </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Schmidt continues to put up impressive numbers and prove that she is one of the top post players in her class this season. She’s a dominant forward who plays exceptionally well with her back to the basket. A fierce rebounder as well, Schmidt has the footwork and strength to lead her team in rebounds each game. In a victory over Randolph, Schmidt led her team in scoring with 26 points and 10 rebounds. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="204137" first="Kiara" last="Hammond"] | D.C Everest | 5’8 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Hammon led her team in scoring with 19 points in a victory over Medford. She shows great side-to-side motion of movement and is very quick laterally. She moves off the ball incredibly well. She is very explosive and attacks at a high rate. </span>
<b>Taylor Martin | Port Edwards | 5’8 SG </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Martin has been a primary option for her team this season and has proven she can score effortlessly from multiple spots on the floor. Her shooting stroke from behind the arc is extremely impressive- she needs little to no space to knock it down. Martin has deep range as well. Although her team didn’t get the win over Rosholt this week, Martin had a standout performance on both ends of the floor. She finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">La Chapell continues to put up impressive numbers as she leads her team into playoff action. The junior is a high energy player that brings great quality minutes to the floor- and she sees a lot of them. She is explosive off two feet and can finish strong on offensive rebounds. She’s patient when attacking from the perimeter and uses her pivots better than anyone in her class. She also plays with active hands that have helped her be a defensive standout for her team as well. In a victory over Oshkosh West this week, La Chapell led her team with 17 points and 10 rebounds. </span>
<b>Taylor Zellmer | Watertown Luther Prep | 5’10 F</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Zellmer works well with her fellow post players and when the two are in the game together they are very difficult to defend. Zellmer has added some confidence from deep this season and will knock it down if left open. She’s a dominant rebounder and does an excellent job holding off defenders and chasing down boards. In a victory against a tough DeForest squad, the forward led her team with 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="155453" first="Mya" last="Moore"] | Pius XI Catholic | 6’1 C </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Moore is as dominant as they come inside the paint. She uses her body better than most in her conference and is confident playing with her back to the basket. She has the footwork and agility to play impact minutes and be a huge factor inside the lane. Mostly a threat when she receives the pass on the block, Moore has shown glimpses of being able to control the ball going downhill. In a victory over Brown Deer this week, Moore scored 15 points for her team.</span>
<b>Mayah Holzhueter | Cambridge | 5’11 F</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Cambridge standout has been putting on a show all season long. She has been averaging nearly 20 points per game and is one of the top performers in the Capitol- South conference. She’s a fantastic athlete who can defend nearly any position on the floor. Offensively she puts up impressive numbers as well, in a victory over Waterloo this week, Holzhueter finished with 26 points. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="204126" first="Clare" last="Diener"] | Cedarburg | 5’10 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">While averaging 20.7 points per game, Diener had a breakout performance against Port Washington. The junior finished with 38 points and went 5-9 from the three point line. She is a skillful player with the ball, and she looks to get her teammates involved. She consistently makes dazzling plays throughout the game because of her natural feel and sense of creativity. Diener is a high level scorer with her jump shot, both from three point territory and from the midrange. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="132373" first="Jordan" last="Meulemans"] | De Pere | 6’0 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Meulemans had an outstanding performance this week. The junior led her team in scoring with 26 points in a victory over a talented Bay Port team. The junior is phenomenal in many offensive categories that deal with efficiency. She is a lethal off-ball threat because of her willingness to move and run off screens.
