<strong>Florida Roundup: News Around Florida Volume 10</strong> By Michael Wholey 2/14/21 5:00 PM EST <em>We have entered the FHSAA Regional playoffs.  Let’s take a look around Florida for what has been going on the last two weeks in Florida Round Up – Volume 10!</em> &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91555" first="Nyla" last="Harris"] Chooses Louisville </strong> <strong><img class=" wp-image-242884 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/01/Nyla-Harris-206x300.jpg" alt="" width="103" height="150" />2022 Forward [player_tooltip player_id="91555" first="Nyla" last="Harris"] </strong>has choosen Louisville over Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, and Florida State.  The # 3 ranked player in our class of 2022 rankings is one of the country’s top prospects and has been having a stellar season at Lake Highland Prep, helping them to an undefeated season to date. <strong> </strong> &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91509" first="Jaiyah" last="Harris-Smith"] verbally commits to Ole Miss </strong> <img class=" wp-image-251988 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/02/Jaiyah-Harris-1K-e1612279269569-262x300.jpg" alt="" width="119" height="136" />2021<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="91509" first="Jaiyah" last="Harris-Smith"] </strong>has verbally committed to Ole Miss<strong>.  The 5</strong>’5 Senior Guard has had an amazing prep career for Miami Norland and is currently averaging 14.3 PPG to go along with 5.8 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game.  Harris-Smith was the highest ranked player in the class of 2021 that had yet to make a decision! <strong> </strong> &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91510" first="Lindsey" last="Weingard"] Reaches 1,500 career points </strong> <strong><img class=" wp-image-243121 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/01/Linz-227x300.jpeg" alt="" width="118" height="156" />[player_tooltip player_id="91510" first="Lindsey" last="Weingard"] </strong>closes out her prep career surpassing 1,500 career points in her final game!  <strong>Weingard</strong> has been one of the state’s top scorers this season averaging 22 points per game.  The 5’6 Senior guard has been one of Dade county top players for the last 3 years and helped establish Krop as one of the top teams in the Miami area! <strong> </strong> &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91483" first="Eno" last="Inyang"] Joins 2K Club </strong> <img class=" wp-image-91628 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2019/09/Eno-Inyang-300x229.jpg" alt="" width="185" height="141" />2021 Forward/Center <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91483" first="Eno" last="Inyang"]</strong> recently surpassed 2,000 career points joining the exclusive 2K Club.  The 6’2 Senior signed a full scholarship to attend Clemson University and play for the Women’s Basketball program.  She is expected to compete for rotational minutes as a Freshman. &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91481" first="Chaniya" last="Clark"] Is Fort Myers High School All-Time Leading Scorer</strong> <img class=" wp-image-91620 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2019/09/Chaniya-Clark-300x269.jpg" alt="" width="131" height="117" />6’2 North Carolina A&amp;T signee <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91481" first="Chaniya" last="Clark"]</strong> recently became Fort Myers High School all time leading scorer.  She currently has 1,753 career points.  This is a very impressive feat given the amount of talent Fort Myers has had over the years! &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>Jovanna Oliva Commits </strong> <strong>Jovanna Oliva</strong> from SLAM!
