There has been some high level talent taking the court in Michigan. We will look at prospects from Flushing, Standish-Sterling, Cedar Springs, and Lowell.

Flushing 57, Standish-Sterling 49

[player_tooltip player_id="222329" first="Keeli" last="Lindstrom"] (2021, PG, Flushing)
Lindstrom played really efficient basketball. She had a good feel for the game, knowing when to push the pace and when to slow the game and get into an offensive set. Lindstrom took high percentage shots and passed the ball well when in transition.
[player_tooltip player_id="138310" first="Alex" last="Long"] (2021, SG, Flushing)
Long was a terrific scorer at all 3 levels. She drove and finished to the right, drove to the left and finished with a scoop to the right, hit multiple 3’s, and even had a put back deuce. Long swung the ball on the perimeter and had nice post entry passes as well.
[player_tooltip player_id="188583" first="Sarah" last="Rambus"] (2023, PF, Flushing)
Rambus is a flat out difference maker in the paint. She used her length on the glass and defensively, racking up rebounds and blocked shots. Rambus played D straight up instead of reaching and picking up cheap fouls. Rambus had a couple nice passes, including hitting a cutting Long for an easy 2.
[player_tooltip player_id="138377" first="Elle" last="Adrian"] (2021, PF, Standish-Sterling)
I was impressed with Adrian. She played physical basketball and had an influence in the paint. Adrian established position under the rim. She was very effective on the offensive glass, picking up a couple of put back baskets.
Macey Fegan (2023, SG, Standish-Sterling)
Fegan is definitely a young star in the state of Michigan. She drove the lane and showed a nice spin move and floater for 2. Fegan could get buckets from mid range even when it congested or in traffic. She also showed the ability to feed the post with a pass over top of the defender.

Cedar Springs 44, Lowell 30

Kaelyn Colclasure (2021, G, Cedar Springs)
Colclasure seemed to have the ball start and end in her hands. She made some nice passes, hit a deep triple, and drove the lane picking up a foul. Colclasure was active on defense forcing turnovers.
Jenna Powell (2021, G, Cedar Springs)
Powell showed 3 point range on her jumper and made a ton of hustle and energy plays.
[player_tooltip player_id="230824" first="Alexis" last="Howell"] (2023, G/F, Lowell)
Howell was comfortable and effective from all over the floor. She showed a good all around game and a nice looking mid range jumper.
[player_tooltip player_id="244263" first="Taryn" last="Jackson"] (2024, G, Lowell)
Jackson had great vertical speed and could really push the pace of the game. She had a nice baseline drive and dish out of it.
