<strong>Final: Oregon Triple 41, Lady Inland 32</strong>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Oregon Triple played Lady Inland a team from Corona, CA on the first day of the HoopSource Presidents’ Day National TOC where they ran away with a 41-32 victory after a superb showing in the first half where they started things off with a 21-8 run. Defensively, they were imposing and physical as they were not afraid to roll up their sleeves in the paint. [player_tooltip player_id="158491" first="Skye" last="Miller"] was amongst top performers as she filled up the stat sheet as showed why she is headed to national junior college Eastern Arizona whereas [player_tooltip player_id="207825" first="Mya" last="Adams"] led all scorers with 15 points in an impressive shooting display.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">In the second half, Oregon Triple began things with a ten point lead as they would continue in their efforts playing tremendous defense and sharing the ball on the other end of the floor. Their lead would extend when they led the affair 29-15 and Lady Inland would get things to 39-30, however, there simply wasn’t enough time as the damage was done. Oregon Triple would hold on to win 41-32 with a great team effort all around.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158491" first="Skye" last="Miller"] 2021 5’10" SG Oregon Triple/McKay HS</strong> - the Eastern Arizona signee continued to show that she is a gritty competitor who gets after it defensively and offensively she is versatile as an interior scorer but can also have the flashy pass in traffic. She finished with an impressive 6 point, 4 rebound, 4 assist, 2 block, 2 steal effort where she had two tremendous blocks on back to back possessions. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207825" first="Mya" last="Adams"] 2022 5’6" SG Oregon Triple/West Salem HS</strong> - Mya was lights out from alongside the arc as she displayed not only a high percentage but good IQ on shot-selection ability. She sank three from deep and made some nice mid-range jumpers around the key. She finished with a superb 15 point effort as she made her points count in a nice array.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158536" first="Melanie" last="Hiu"] 2022 5’7" SG Oregon Triple/Barlow HS</strong> - the defensive specialist locks down on defense but knows how to facilitate alongside the wing and finds teammates in optimal positions before the defense can react. She is a key role player for Triple who showed her ability to affect the game across the board. Finished with 33 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158488" first="Liv" last="Knapp"] 2021 5’6" SG Oregon Triple/Liberty HS</strong> - Knapp handled point guard duties for a portion of the game, showing off her slick handle and ability to set the table. Although her shot wasn’t going down, Knapp showed that she can handle the keys to the offense as she finished with 4 points and 4 assists, depicting her ability to read defenses and react accordingly. </span>
